1135) Great location. Cheap for
a private room. Simple self check in and check out. 1134) Really enjoyed our stay. 1133) Place was a little cute
room. 1132) A good stay. No frills,
just a good, safe place to lay your head. Others in shared spaces were
polite and courteous. Will be staying here longer. 5 stars. 1131) Great place for a quick
and cheap stop. Smooth checkin and checkout experience. 1130)
This is a great place at a great deal in a very limited hostel scene
in Salt Lake City. It's wonderful to have public transit very close the
hostel and you can get there directly from the airport on the Trax Light
Rail for $2.50 one way (2018 pricing). The private rooms are a great deal
and come with everything you need. The check in procedure is different,
but modern and efficient. I liked the small touches of having a stool
in the bathroom (always nice to sit to put socks on!). This was my second
time staying here in a span of 4 years or so, its the same old place that
gets the job done. Felt Safe. I would stay here again and recommend it
to seasoned hostel travelers. 1129) This place was nice and
clean. Pay close attention to the check in and out details. 1128) Great place. 1127) Everything as expected.
Great location. Check-in was a breeze, just read the instructions. 1126) It was really great and
comfy cozy!!! Loved every part of it!! So sweet so lovely! 1125) Valuable, I will back next
time. 1124) Clean hostel. Easy check
in once you understand the system. 1123) Great nights rest. Clean,
convenient and would definitely stay here again. 1122) A nice hostel with solid
amenities. Had an issue with check-in that Arthur was very responsive
and quick to help me resolve it. 1121) Great hostel. Will stay
here again! Thanks so much for getting us in and the extra blanket! :) 1120)
Exactly what I needed: an inexpensive, clean spot to stay during a
work trip to a conference. I was able to take the light rail right to
it from the airport, walk from it to the convention center downtown, and
had some nice spots nearby to visit on my free time. Instructions for
check-in were clear and given online ahead of my visit. I'd stay there
again! Thank you for the nice stay! 1119) Great location 1118) Good place, great price,
great customer service and chill people. 1117) Always dependable. Thanks
for the private room. 1116) Great place. 1115) This is a cute small space
right down the street from the hot springs...We really enjoyed our stay.
Check in was easy & the building was quiet
I appreciated the
kitchen space so I could eat leftovers for dinner...When we arrived, the
room was cold & the thermostat was locked. The hosts responded quickly
to fix it 1114) If you're looking for a
cheap place to stay downtown, this is a deal for you!...it was a nice
stay, perfect for my purpose and cheap too. The other guests were fine,
never had a problem
It was a good experience, just follow the directions
they send you to make it a smooth experience. Thank You! 1113) Place was clean quiet and
very close to where you want to be in downtown SLC. Thank you very much. 1112) Great value if you just
need a place close to a destination in Salt Lake City. 1111) Great place with reasonable
rates. Rooms are comfy. 1110)

you for providing me accommodation in your hi tech hostel. 1108) The price is pretty good,
and the room was pretty nice. 1107) Awesome spot! 1106) Good place for the low cost. 1105) I love Arthur's place, it's
very nice and well organized check in and out. 1104) Arthur was a good host -
gave me all the info I needed. 1103) Great value and cozy. 1102) Camelot was perfect for
us. Another booking fell through and we were happy to find somewhere with
great value, close to the venue we were visiting, on such short notice.
Our private room had everything we needed,
bunk bed made us nostalgic
for Hostels in Europe in all the right ways. We won't hesitate to stay
again if we need accommodation in Salt Lake. 1101) Very good location. Very
good communication. 1100)

get what you expect in that it's a dorm style stay, but it was clean,
well-organized, and had good amenities. Would recommend. I enjoyed the
stay very much, it was quite nice. Will certainly stay again if I am back
in Salt Lake City. 1098) The stay was fine
I have no complaints
Thanks for running this operation. It is clear
that a ton of careful preparations have been made and a lot invested in
improvements. I hope it is the success it deserves to be. 1097) Clean facilities and very
convenient for visiting SLC. 24 hour check in a huge bonus when flying
internationally. 1096) Very good 1095) Great stay, thank you. Will
stay here again when I'm next in town. 1094) Arthur communicated great.
Check in was explained well. Will stay there again. 1093) Clean accommodations, within
walkable distance of downtown. 1092) Good place. 1091) We enjoyed swimming at the
hot springs and then sitting around the campfire at the hotel, peaceful
country location. 1090)
Arthurs place ended up being better than I expected. A great shared
living space mixed with a very accessible check in and check out policy.
My private room was just as promised and I had great conversations with
guest on the swing. I recommend this stay for any traveler. 1089) Simple, affordable option.
Great location, lots to see nearby. 1088) Great place, comfortable. 1087) Loved our stay at Camelot!
My sister and I had a last minute flight change and needed a place to
stay- the beds were clean, the house was quiet, and the guests were super
friendly. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thanks Arthur! 1086) It's a good place, good
value and centrally located. 1085) Great place to stay. 1084) Arthur's place is in a lovely
rural community about 3 miles from Crystal Hot Springs. Room was small
however shower, toilet and sink all very clean and new. We did not use
the kitchen common room but it would be great if we were staying longer 1083) The place was nice. Room
was neat and clean. Met our needs perfectly. Close to Crystal Hot Springs. 1082) Great place for people who
are looking for a nice cheap hostel in SLC. The place is very clean, people
that stay there were really nice and welcoming. Definitely will come back
1081) The place provides good
service for the price and I was able to get downtown in no time because
TRAX is right around the block. I would recommend packing light because
there is not a lot of space. 1080)
It's a nice inn, everything you need can be found easily and we were
happy about the cleanliness. Public transport is accessible, not too far
from the center. 1079) Loved the homey atmosphere
and the swing was awesome. Liked it overall! 1078) Another great stay here.
The rooms are very nice and the area is peaceful and quiet. A definite
stay if you're in the area! 1077) I always have a great experience
staying here. Check in/check out is a breeze, and the rooms are quite
cozy. Great location too. Highly recommended! 1076) The room is small but cozy.
The location is nice, just a few minutes' walk from a TRAX station. 1075) This is a great spot if
you want to be in SLC on a budget. I would definitely stay again. 1074) Great for inn/hostel. Check-in
was a breeze - Thanks! 1073) Camelot was reasonably priced
and in a good part of the city with some nice restaurants in the area.
The check-in procedure was automated and easy. 1072) Comfy beds for a hostel.
Easy process. So affordable. Right on the TRAX to/from airport! Thankful. 1071) Es un buen lugar para quedarse
cerca de la estación de tren, cerca de Downton a 5 min en tren. 1070)
The online check in process was very convenient, and the laid back
atmosphere of the place allowed me to come and go when I pleased. The
room was nice, clean, and cozy. I will definitely stay here again. Arthur,
thank you so much for having me at your place the past couple of days.
The accommodations were exactly what I needed during my short stay. I
will say that I got the job at Union Pacific that I interviewed for, so
I will be back soon. I might need a place to stay for the first few weeks
living in SLC, so I will definitely keep you in mind. Thank you so much
for your hospitality. Check in process was a breeze, and my room was nice
and cozy. Great place to stay, and a great value for the price. 1069) Great off freeway travelers
rest. Full kitchen use, perfect bedroom and exquisite bath! Despite the
heat, a fan was all I needed with the ceiling fan. Very euro styling.
The bathroom is fantastic. Floor to ceiling travertine. The flooring is
pressed concrete which is an absolute delight to me. Very minimalist,
euro styled. The lights on the wagon wheels outside the window were just
lovely to look at as I fell asleep. thank you for your patience with my
entry issues. Highly recommend, perfect freeway access. 1068) Arthur was prompt with communication
in helping us get checked in on short notice which we really appreciated.
The room and bathrooms were clean and met our expectations for staying
a night in SLC on a road-trip and hiking weekend. Thanks again for helping
us out on such short notice. 1067) Perfect place to stay! 1066) Nice place with parking
spot in walkable distance to city center. I can recommend it! 1065) Barato y cómodo 1064) Great place 1063) Very good and clean and
nice setting considering this price. People live here are nice and quiet.
Worth it!
All in all, great place and great host. Gracias! 1062) Great location. Very understanding
and nice host. 1061) This bungalow is a perfect
stay for anyone transitioning, or sight-seeing. If you're going to be
at work all day or out and a bout sight-seeing save your expensive, fancy
hotel stay for when you want to be in bed all day and take a trip to the
Camelot inn instead. I am so glad your business exists. Let me know if
you ever need someone to work there in the evenings I'd love to work with
you! 1060)
Love Camelot! Best place to stay in SLC if you ask me. 1059) Good location, clean rooms.
Not having a manager on site makes communication a little cumbersome.
I was asleep and woken up by your call and text to ask if I was the one
making noise in the common room. I find that an incredibly invasive and
violates the privacy which I paid for. 1058) It's a solid bargain for
staying in SLC. Right by the light rail and you can walk to it if need
be. Thanks for the great room for the layover You are a bargain for the
price. Only suggestion is softer pillows. They were the only thing I didn't
like. 1057) It was excellent. 1056) Set in a beautiful quiet
town, this was a peaceful stay. As soon as you walk in the room you feel
right at home. Everything is clean and new. Great views of the mountains
and easy access to I-15. It is also minutes away from the hot springs.
At a great price and beautiful accommodations, this is definitely the
place to stay while visiting. 1055) It's nice place. 1054) I enjoyed my stay here.
The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that the Wi-Fi wasn't working.
Arthur was helpful and was offered to let me walk down the block to use
the Wi-Fi at the hostel he owns. He was a great host and I would stay
here again. 1053) I love being there I feel
safe ... (booked somewhere else) Woods cross for 7 days. Are you all booked
for next week? If I survive I'll probably be back, if you have room...
It's scary. 1052) Your hostel is well-situated
for business that I occasionally have in SLC. This was my second stay,
and I will probably stay with you again in the future. Thanks for keeping
such a simple, quiet place to stay! 1051) Great place with great access
to the city. 1050)
I've stayed in hostels before so I had an idea of what to expect.
My friends who had never been in one were nervous about it. Every anxiousness
they had was laid to rest, because Camelot Inn was so fantastic. It was
cozy, friendly and inviting. Every need met. Every question answered.
I loved it there and my friends had an amazing first hostel experience.
Thank you. THANK YOU! Thank you for helping me and my friends feel at
home and comfortable on our adventure to Utah. 1049) Good hostel. Recommend. 1048) Alright place if you are
passing SLC. There is no one at the "hostel" so if you don't
have internet or a phone, you cannot request a last minute bed. The responsible
was fast to answer once we could find someone to borrow a phone from.
He gave us codes and access to the hostel within minutes. The place is
not isolated at all which makes it very noisy whenever a guest is having
a shower or talking in the kitchen area. Overall it was an ok stay! 1047) Great easy place to stay. 1046) My kids and I had a blast!
We were up all night and unfortunately had to get them to school the next
morning. I told everybody about it so hopefully it will bring you some
more guests but we will be back soon...Thank you. 1045) Thank you for great communication! 1044) Nice place, well run, will
use again. 1043) A friend of mine and I stayed
here after leaving the Grand Canyon and it was great to be able to sleep
in a bed, wash our camp dishes and shower. We had to come in late because
the distance but the self-check in and access codes to get in made that
totally easy. While I never met Arthur in person he was fast to respond
and answered questions clearly. Be sure to be out of the building by 10:00am
or you will be charged extra, we weren't able to use the washer and dryer
because I didn't understand this till it was too late to start a load. 1042) Hostel and room were both
clean. Enough bathrooms which were clean also. Location was great, easy
access to highway and to public transport as well. 1041) A great stay for the night
when travelling. 1040)
The rooms were quaint and comfortable. Cute decor and had all the
needed amenities. They were great at responding to the emails quickly
and giving me all the needed check-in info. Refrigerator was cold. Clean
quite rooms. Loved the bench swing in the back. Thanks for helping us
out in a tight situation! I would totally stay here again. 1039) Best hostel option in SLC. 1038) Extremely clean, cheap,
organized and close to downtown. 1037) Everything was perfect,
thank you so much! The only thing is we thought it would be three beds
instead of two. Worked out ok though! 1036) Place was in a nice area
with roosters and horses, the beds were bunk beds queen sized but super
comfy. Everything is self-sufficient for check in and check out. Great
price. 1035) For the price, it is honestly
an amazing place to stay. All the other guests were really nice, and it
made for a great trip. 1034) Very organized and interesting
idea. 1033) Great little place to stay! 1032) The place was quiet and
comfortable. Perfect! 1031) Great value and a fun experience
that's different than just a hotel. Thanks so much! 1030) The dormitory is great for
a single traveler or a couple on vacation. The room is adequate and comfy;
the accommodations are simple to maneuver. It was a positive experience
over all. Thank you for your timely response. Found the experience easy
to navigate with the instructions and codes easy to access. 1029)
I didn't end up spending too much time in the building, as I was doing
the many outdoor activities Utah has to offer. But the time I did spend
was good. I had my own room. There are plenty of private bathrooms for
the guests to use, and the kitchen/common area had everything I needed
for lunch/dinner prep. There is even a shelf dedicated to free items -
anything from shaving cream to granola bars to rice that previous guests
did not get a chance to use all of and have since donated. Arthur has
signs placed everywhere clearly outlining guest responsibilities and check
in/out procedures. Overall, an affordable place to stay in an easily accessible
location. I never saw Arthur, but I was completely satisfied with my stay.
Thank you for the stay. All the signs clearly stated expectations as well
as check in/out process. 1028) We stayed in the double
bed room with private bathroom. It was very nice, clean, comfortable and
had a flat screen tv and mini fridge. Plenty of storage space too. Only
a 2 min. Drive from the hot springs. There is a fire pit outside and a
propane BBQ. 1027) I did not meet Arthur, however
the information he provided was clear and accurate. The room is part of
the hostel, it was clean, nice and well located. Highly recommended for
a non-expensive stay in Salt Lake City! The hostel was nice and well located.
I'll definitely book your place again for a next trip in Salt Lake City!
1026) Nice, clean little place.
The price was great and the location very convenient - less than one block
from the TRAX stop that takes you downtown. Beds were a little squeaky,
but when you are asleep, who cares. Thank you for a great place to stay! 1025) Super close to the train
station. Neatly clean. 1024) Nice private room in downtown
at a low price. Doesn't get better than that if you're looking for a private
room on this site. 1023) It was a good stay. At times,
loud in the middle of the night. 1022) Needed a place to stay while
driving through. Worked out great. Easy check in and check out. Nice room. 1021) It was a good experience
overall. 1020) The staff was effective
and kind 1019) It was a great accommodation.
Clean, convenient and very quiet. Thank you. 1018)
This was my first experience staying in a hostel. The directions for
check-in and room access were easy to follow. The room was secure and
clean. 1017) No host. You had to read
signs and follow directions to get access to the key to your room. It
was fine. I just have never done that before. 1016) Was perfect!! 1015) Place was clean and had
everything a good hostel needs. A bed, a fridge, parking. I would stay
here again for sure. 1014) Inexpensive! Not living
quite like a sir but it's clean and close to everything you need. Self
check in wasn't bad at all. 1013)
We all very much enjoyed our stay. 1012) Pretty decent place to stay!
Very helpful day of check-in when I accidentally booked the wrong room.
I definitely recommend this place for travelers! 1011) It's kind of strange having
no staff there, but they are very timely in responding to inquiries, the
place is clean, there are a lot of kitchen appliances to use, and the
other visitors I encountered were very respectful 1010) My first time staying at
a hostel. It was fun! Very bare bones but it was quiet and comfortable.
I appreciated the self check in. 1009) Great stay! 1008)
I really enjoyed Camelot Inn. Our room was very clean and perfect
for our needs. Even though I did not have a ton of time to talk to the
other guests, they all seemed very friendly. The bathrooms were all very
clean and well maintained. The check in process is a breeze, once you
know what you are doing. I thought it was quite a clever idea. Arthur
was quick to let me book the room, even though it was very last minute.
I would stay here again for sure. 1007) Thank God for the after-hours
check-in system. Overall, a fast, stress-free experience. 1006) This was my first experience
staying in a hostel and I was pleasantly surprised. The bed was comfortable
and the young lady who helped me the first day, was super. ... I would
highly recommend this hostel! 1005) Clean and quiet room. 1004) 2 miles from Temple Square
1003) The laundry and kitchen. 1002) The location, accessibility,
property features like the swing, fire pit, and lit barn all made this
staycation very pleasurable. 1001) Amazing value for the money!!
As far as hostels go, I'd rate this pretty high! It was super clean, provided
linens/towels, several private bathrooms, and full kitchen! Overall great
stay and easy location to Coffee shop in the morning and walkable or train-able
to downtown. I would highly recommend to others coming to SLC! :) 1000)
Typical hostel experience for the most part. Bathrooms were clean,
house was pretty quiet. 999) The room was very clean and
everything I needed for a good night's rest on my way west. It was more
like a motel room, but easier check in! For me.. ..Location was great;
right off the interstate. 998) We really enjoyed our stay
at the Camelot Inn. The rooms were comfortable and the place had the feel
of a youth hostel. It was interesting to interact with the other guests
in the common areas. The inn is located just around the corner from a
Trax station which made accessing downtown a breeze 997) Good location. 996) Excellent location near the
city. Very convenient come-and-go. A little uncertainty, for some, is
the fun of traveling. 995) Slept great! The room was
really nice, the do it yourself checkin was simple enough too. 994) Quaint and clean. Looks newly
remodeled. 993)
I had a great experience at the Camelot Inn. I was curious to experience
the self check in, as some people said they didn't like it. I thought
it was easy, straight forward, and brilliant solution to save on staff
costs and pass along those savings to the guests. I was pleasantly surprised
with how clean the place was. Very well put together and plenty of restrooms
to share with all the guests (always clean). Key codes and key boxes made
it easy to always have access to the place and the massage chair in the
common area was a really nice plus! Overall, thanks for a great stay.
992) Great place. Enjoyed my stay.
991) Everything went good. Was
only for a day here. Would come back when I'am in SLC. 990) Awesome first hostel experience!
Very clean! I felt super safe and the self check in was great(and easy)!
989) It was the perfect little
get away during our visit to Logan. Definitely worth the price and very
clean and nice. We wish we would have known all the things in the kitchen
to cook with. 988) Camelot Inn was great for
me and my partner. We were just passing through Salt Lake and needed a
place to sleep. You check yourself in, and rooms are comfortable but nothing
fancy, just the essentials. There is a small public kitchen and two bathrooms.
It was no problem sharing with other guests. The place was clean, and
the price was great. I would stay there again. 987) We enjoyed our overnight
at Camelot Inn/Honeyville. Our compact room was clean and comfortable
with everything we needed. Excellent value! 986) The decor was interesting
and attractive and the room was comfy. 985) Convenient, clean and neat. 984) There is a fully equipped
kitchen 983) I enjoyed my stay very much.
You provided me with everything I needed. And I was close to the Salt
Palace Convention Center, too. I will be sure to recommend you to anyone
I know who is planning to visit Salt Lake City. And next time I visit
SLC, I will stay with you again. BTW, I was fascinated by your clever
use of computer technology and the key safe to manage checking in and
checking out. Very 007! Thanks for everything! 982) Camelot is a nice low key
place to stay. It has pretty much everything you need. A lot of people
get confused about the self check in system but it's not that difficult,
just have some patience! 981) It was good. I was a bit
nervous about the self check-in, but that worked out fine. The beds were
comfortable. ... We didn't use the kitchen. ... 980)
I really enjoyed my three nights stay back in February at this hostel
when I came for a skiing trip at Snowbird. The rooms are small but orderly
and clean. The place is reasonably quite at night. The room was a little
cold the first night but that was taken care of after I talked to one
of the guys who worked there. I am new to hostels so I am not sure if
this is standard but there was free stuff to use for cooking like oil,
salt, pasta, and stuff. Even though I didn't use any of that, that was
a very compassionate gesture. I would stay here again. I also liked the
streamlined checking-in and checking-out system that could be done with
zero personal contact with the people running the place. Very convenient.
979) I had a very nice stay, staff
really helpful, and the room was spacious and comfy and the premises very
nice. Downtown is at walking distance. 978) Spent 3 nights in Salt Lake
City. The first was at a hotel, the last two were at the 800 Guesthouse.
It was very clean and very well run. The self check in is not complicated
and I hope to stay here again in the future.. 977) Thank you, it was great!
Near Public Transport, pubs, and convenient stores! 976) Camelot Inn & Hostel
is awesome! Although it looks a little bit weird from the website (I think
it's because its color), after spending one night here, I felt this hostel
is safe and comfortable! It is not only cheap but also located in a convenient
area. I highly recommend those who want to find a cheap but high quality
place to stay in the Salt Lake City, Camelot Inn & Hostel will be
definitely your top choice! 975) Arthur, the owner, was glad
to provide assistance during check in when I called him. He answered all
of my questions and encouraged me to call again if I needed further assistance.
I enjoyed my stay in the hostel. The room was clean and so was the kitchen,
bathroom, and dining room. For the price, the service provided by this
hostel is unbeatable. I was looking for peace and quiet to get some work
done and I got plenty of that. And to top it off, I discovered a massage
chair in the dining room which was quite relaxing. 974) ... Camelot has become like
a second home and it is so nice to come home to after extensive camping.
The owner Arthur is so friendly and will treat you like an old friend.
He will go out of his way to accommodate you and is loyal to returning
guests. The rooms are quaint and are given character by multi-colored
hues and different designed curtains and bedding. Blankets and a bath
towel are provided. I love that there is a cable TV in each room. Most
importantly, as a woman traveling alone I feel safe here because there
is a private entrance code into the building, as well as security cameras,
and two locks on the bedroom doors, one which can only be locked or unlocked
from the inside. The check-in system on the computers is great because
you never have to wait in line and can check in at any time. And if you
have any concerns Arthur is just a phone call away and will promptly assist
you with any needs. There are also signs all over the place which are
so helpful to answer any questions. The kitchen is clean and well-equipped.
The location is great, as well. It is within walking distance of Pioneer
Park which is great for twilight concert series. There is also a Trax
station just a block away. The other guests are nice and friendly, too,
and it is comforting to know that no rude or shady characters will be
tolerated. I highly recommend!
972) This hostel is extremely
clean and safe. After looking at some of the other hostels in the area
with scary reviews, I was very glad to have found this place. I could
not have asked for nicer 'budget accommodations', it was cleaner than
some hotels I've stayed at. This is a family run business and they were
all very nice and helpful. I liked the self check in and the staff was
pleasant and went out of their way to help me every time I called or asked
for assistance. Also a great location, half a block from the train! Thank
you for such a wonderful stay!! 971) I was pretty satisfied with
my stay at this hostel. I stayed at the one on 556 E 500 S. 970)
After being stiffed by another local hostel, Camelot (800 South Guest
House) was very accommodating and helpful with letting me stay there with
a very short notice. ... The rooms were nice and very private. I received
exactly what I needed when staying there though, a good sleep and my own
room. 969) Close to hot springs. 968) A clean, quiet, safe place
to stay, near the Trax station. Kitchen well-stocked with all utensils.
Good parking. Bed was very comfortable. Good WiFi. Private bath is nice
967) I thought that it was such
a cute quiet place Didn't even know that there was a shared kitchen area
a bbq and firepit. This is very helpful with a family and because not
a lot of restaurants in small town The diner was awesome as well and not
very far and crystal hot spring is like 5 mins away.. Thank you for sharing
your property with our family. Bring good shoes and firewood to enjoy
fire pit! Have a great stay 966) I liked the rooms, they were
clean and cozy. We went to Honeyville for crystal springs, Camelot is
literally down the street. Super close drive! They provided a fan and
a mini fridge in the room. 965) The massage chair was cool.
964) The facility is small (only
5 rooms). The rooms are small but very efficient. ... Is quite comfortable
and extremely clean. There is a group kitchen that you can use which is
very nice. We loved the swing that is outside. We sat out on the swing
in the evenings and enjoyed the fresh clean air and the beautiful stars.
From this location we were able to visit the Wild Bird Sanctuary and also
a lovely Cherry farm. Crystal Hot Springs is just 2 miles away. There
is a free dryer in the Kitchen area that you can use to dry your swimsuits
and towels! This is a very nice plus. We plan to come back! 963) The rooms were clean. I liked
having access to a kitchen. 962) My third stay there. Had
a small but super clean room with private bath and shower and a comfortable
bed that felt like heaven after a week of roughing it on the road. Very
good value for your money. The self-check in is quick and easy and the
location is ideal. Safe, quiet neighbourhood at night, close to downtown,
right on the trax. Will stay there again when I'm in SLC. 961) Great location, freeway friendly
and close to the center of the city... 960)
I needed a place last minute but Arthur guided me in the right direction
to get a room for myself. The room itself was clean, one bed with sheets,
pillow, and towel provided. There's a common kitchen area as well as decent
bathrooms. Overall I though the place was decent especially for the price!
959) Convenient, and cheap. ...
Worth it for the money! 958) It was a bit unconventional
but it worked pretty well! Located in a great part of town, and the owner
was a super personable guy who made everyone feel welcome. I'll stay here
again if I'm ever again in SLC! 957) The host communicated check
in instructions and all necessary information effectively so that everything
went smoothly upon our arrival. We only stayed for one night (got in late,
left early), but we were happily surprised that the room had a private
bathroom (I had thought the bathroom was in shared space). We didn't get
to utilize any other amenities but the room was very clean and comfortable
and we got the night's rest that we needed. 956) This is a great place to
stay and will probably be back if I ever find myself in SLC again. The
beds are comfy, the kitchen is convenient and the rules are fair. There
are great people that stayed there. Thanks for everything. 955) Just need clean comfortable
night's sleep to prepare for an early morning 200+ mile bike ride. 954) Nice little room, the location
was great. 953) Great location to nearby
hot springs. Comfortable room. 952) There was a massage chair
in the room - made all the difference 951) Loved the location and that
it was a different from a traditional room. We make a fire around the
fire pit outside and it was a lot of fun. It felt like camping without
the muss and fuss. 950)
This is a pretty solid hostel! I had a private room, and everything
was clean and tidy. Bathrooms were clean as well, which isn't always the
case at other hostels. Note: this place is run in an automated fashion,
so don't expect a host around at all times, and be sure to watch the video
on how to check-in. I'm sure this is how they're able to make this such
a good bang for your buck. 949) Great location for our family
reunion. Everything we HAD to have was there. Beds were quite comfortable
though. ... Very quiet. Loved the price. Once I was able to find real
people to talk to the service was great! 948) I liked the price, location,
very, very clean. The bed was okay. I love that private rooms were available.
Mini kitchen, quiet, nice area, close to train 947) Simple but good place to
stay. 946) All the information in the
bedroom and around the property. 945) It's near a tram stop, so
easy to reach from the city center or the airport. 944) Pretty Chill. Not alot of
business all around. Very Relaxed! Loved getting away! 943) Room was comfortable even
if small. Beds were comfortable. 942) The hostel is clean and well-organized,
and I would recommend it with the following caveat. ... We booked a private
room, and we got one on the third floor. Research where you will be staying
if it's the dead of summer -- Salt Lake is hot! Otherwise, this is a very
pleasant guesthouse -- enjoy it. 941) I got in at 1am and there
were just a couple people talking in the common area. I did the simple
self check in to find the room and key code to my room, got in my room
and went to bed! Simple place for cheap. I enjoyed the night here and
a shower in the morning. ... I would likely stay here again but I'm moving
here so I probably won't get a chance. 940)
I am a motorcycle guy that is not big on hotels. I prefer tenting
it when I can. I rarely stay in hotels or cities. At last, I am a tight-wad.
this place was more than adequate for a night's rest while traveling.
939) Nice concept, not expensive!
Really enjoy my stay. 938) The location is in a good
area, not too far to walk to other places and public transport is close
by. 937) It was great getting a couple
of weeks to save for a place of my own. Camelot Inn was very clean, was
also great only walking and waiting two minutes for a Trax Train. I would
recommend this place for sure 936) Stayed here one night at
the end of a long trip and everything was wonderful and simple -- just
what I needed! Great price and respectful guests too. Will recommend it
to anyone coming to Salt Lake City! 935) I took care of my disabled
brother so he could stay at the Hostel during a family reunion in SLC
and Arthur was very flexible when I explained the circumstances and extended
the stay beyond the original two days. Arthur was very helpful. During
the entire stay, my brother was safe and secure. Camelot is a clean environment
with many bathrooms and very supportive kitchens. In my work as an analyst,
I've stayed at ***** rated luxury Hotels that cost my company hundreds
of dollars per night and I'd have to say the Camelot Inn had more amenities
available to my brother than I'd ever saw. I was jealous! 934) First time I've stayed in
a hostel and chose this one because of the good reviews. I booked it the
night before and didn't get the email containing the check-in info before
I showed up. Made a quick phone call and got the information I needed
promptly to get in and self check in on the computer. Very clean and instantly
met some real nice guests. I felt much more at home than in a motel. Slept
very well. 933) Camelot Hostel is very clean
and highly efficient. The instructions of the hostel are clearly explained,
and having access to free internet use is highly convenient. The staff
is very helpful and the location is within a mile of the city center.
There are also many amenities that are provided as well including a washer/dryer
on-site. 932) Honestly, more than worth
what was paid. It turned out to be about $160 for 3 nights. Bombarded
with emails on how check-in/out worked and the rules of the place which
was nice. Loved the safety from the front door to the door key and the
watchful eye of the cameras everywhere, as a woman, I felt safe. It's
not a far walk to downtown less than 30 mins. ... Definitely clean, well-kept
for having strangers in and out. ... Really super nice. I'm a hostel lover
for sure because of this place. 931) I found the place to be clean
and cozy and the single room was a nice. ... My room did have a tv. ...
This is the place for you. 930)
My stay at the hostel (guesthouse) was most memorable. The concierge,
Joshua, was extremely friendly and helpful, even at times when he wasn't
scheduled to be on duty. Management has done a good job of excluding the
local near-homeless population that sometimes plaque urban hostels. Fellow
travelers were most interesting and excellent company. The facilities
were first rate for budget accommodations, among the best I've ever seen.
The bathrooms were extremely clean and numerous. The kitchen facilities
(including an oven for baking!) allowed me to prepare my meals everyday.
I highly recommend this facility to everyone (and in fact I've told many
people staying elsewhere in the area what a gem this place is). Should
I have the opportunity to return to SLC in the future, I won't even consider
staying anywhere else. 929) I must say that staying there
was a great experience. The kitchen is clean and had everything I needed,
as are the bathrooms too, and the bedroom is really good. I felt really
safe there, thanks to the passcode scheme (both for entering the house
and the bedroom). The location is good too -- right next to the tram station,
and about fifteen minutes from downtown on foot. I recommend! 928) Love the self check in, even
when there was an issue with my CCAF Arthur quickly resolved after a quick
text. Showers were clean, nice kitchen area. ... Parking area outside
is freshly concreted with nice privacy fence around. Very close to shopping.
Stayed for 8 days, I will be coming back next year. 927) I was looking for a reasonably
priced place to stay while making a ski trip to Salt Lake City in March.
Camelot Guest House turned out to be perfect. Offered a place to sleep
in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of everything I needed
(grocery store, Hard Rock Cafe) and a thirty- to forty-minute drive to
Alta and Snowbird. Facilities were great allowing me to prepare and store
my food and save a bundle. I plan to return next year 926) Nice location in downtown
Salt Lake not far at all from the interstate and light rail station. The
amenities were standard for most modern "1st World" hostels,
clean and in proper order. Overall, I had a good experience with the place
and understand that the owners strive to uphold a certain standard for
their establishment (requiring CC, instituting online check-in) which
I can respect. 925) It was a general comfortable
for me staying in Camelot for one week. Specially it's really convenient
if you decide to take the tram. 924) You never know what you'll
find when you book a hostel, but this one was good. Easy connection from
airport; Trax 900 South station just a half block away. Salt Lake City
is worth the visit in the summer; weather is just right, if not a little
toasty in the afternoons. Safe place all around too. Well-managed hostel.
923) I have stayed several times
at the Camelot Inn Hostel. It is in a great location, with easy access
to public transportation (TRAX & bus), shopping, downtown, and ski
slopes. It is very clean, nicely decorated, has plenty of bathrooms, and
has recently been remodeled, and is SAFE, with photo surveillance, and
the price is affordable. I met some really nice fellow travelers there,
and would highly recommend this Hostel to anyone traveling thru Salt Lake
City. 922) This hostel was clean with
everything that you needed. The rooms were comfy and tidy. 921) Close to salt lake temple,
taco stands, and I-15. Had a good stay. 920)
Everything about the service was excellent. It started from the first
phone call and continued through until I checked out. The whole system
is remarkable, the idea that I paid for my room, checked- in, got my key,
my room, wifi, cable, and never met an employee makes this better than
some overpriced hotels I have stayed in. Nobody was rude or unhappy working
late at a front desk. The instructions and simple step by step process
is so convenient to someone like me who needed a night in an affordable
option while waiting to relocate for a new job. I called around and nothing
was under $55, I simply was not in a position to pay that and I will not
ever again in Salt Lake City knowing the Camelot is here. I really can
say if you come to Salt Lake looking for safe, clean affordable options
this is it. Thanks again. 919) The room was good, meeting
good people with no complaints. 918) I liked being able to check
myself in and there are lots and lots of signs all over the place to let
you know whats up. The place was clean, cute, and convenient. The A/C
worked -- it was nice and cool and my room had a ceiling fan. Overall,
it was a very pleasant experience. I would recommend this place. . 917) Clean place and the price
was right! Good location, close to downtown and some local bars (Ex Wifes
Bar). A block from grocery store. Free internet was an extremely important
necessity. ... Great spot regardless. Liked door keyboxes and self checking
in and out. 916) Not bad for the price. Didn't
use the kitchen/pans, tv/game room. People seemed nice enough, ... no
curfew was nice. ... Liked checking myself in, learned to appreciate the
key box, good shower temperature, ample parking in back (make sure you
get the right spot!), free internet access, one week there as cheap as
one night in a good hotel. Manager responds fairly quickly to e-mails. 915) Hostel wasn't bad. ... They
have a kitchen with pots, pans etc so you can cook. ... For the most part
everything was clean, ... Thumbs up to good hot water heater, key safes,
self check in/out, no curfew, free internet acess, friendly service, co-ed
room options. ... 914)
We enjoy the small towns of Utah and have visited Honeyville several
times. When we saw that they built a small hotel (Camelot Inn) we had
to give it a try. It was EXCELLENT! And icing on the cake were the passes
to Crystal Hot Springs, just north of the inn. We experienced a wonderful,
relaxing time at the hot springs and at the inn. Again ... an excellent
stay at an excellent price! 913) Nice and clean place to stay
near the hot springs. Only stayed for a night as my wife, a friend and
I passed through town. The common area was nice to have access to. 912) Thank you a ton for being
here. We heard of this place through a friend, and we're lucky enough
to catch you at the right time! Very nice place- loved the bunk beds!
Great place to stop! 911) Thank you so much for being
here last night, it was in the stars and meant to be. I loved staying
here- going for a soak sleeping soundly having a great day! 910) Lovely place. Thanks so much
for accommodating us, Wish we could stay longer. Looks like a beautiful
plan. 909) Dear Arthur, T'was lovely
talking to you.. Brought back very fond memories love your place over
here. Clean, and very practical. Best Regards. 908) This is our second time to
stay here. It is super clean and quiet! We enjoyed the Hot Springs last
night and having a warm cozy place to come back to was wonderful. We've
enjoyed it so much this time we brought our son and daughter-in-law. 907) THANK YOU!! Charming place,
cozy. Love staying here! We will be back! 906) I appreciate all the kindness
and cleanliness of your hostel. I will return one day again and visit.
I had the best rest I've had in months. Enjoyed the stay and thank you. 905) This cute little cottage
it quite the gem. Even with the construction going on the room was quiet
and we couldn't even hear the other guests has they walked around. We
will definitely stay here during next years vacation. Thank you again,
904) Thank you for having such
clean rooms and kitchen. The laundry machines were an added bonus! 903) Love this place! Super cozy
I love the do it yourself idea. 902) You guys are the best! We
loved the stay, its like a second home from SLC! Thanks! 901) Thank you! 900) Thank you so much! Your hostel
was exactly what we wanted. 899) The bunk beds ROCK!! 898) This was amazing experience.
I've never seen anything like this. 897) Thank you for our stay! Honestly
didn't expect much for the price but we have been impressed the whole
time! I'll definitely be back soon. LOVE the place! Very homely. 896) This was amazing experience.
I've never seen anything like this. 895) Thank you so much for the
nice stay. The owner was very helpful even answered our voice message
immediately at mid- night 12:00 am very clean and tidy place. 894) Thanks so much for the wonderful
little place you have here. We will be back! 893) Thanks for a fun stay. 892) Amazing stay! Loved the people,
easy to get in and I'll stay again. Thanks! 891) Thank you so much for all.
The Hostel is so nice!! God bless you! 890) I booked Camelot Inn&
Hostel for one Night. It is a very friendly place with nice travelers.
Its clean and cood. There is no personel, everything is by computer but
thats no problem for me. ... The price is nice and you can sleep, shower
etc. I used it the first night after flying from Amsterdam to Salt Lake,
my rental car i found was just a few blocks away. Thank you for The pleasant
stay 889) ... The stay at your hostel
was pleasant. The bathrooms were clean and everything was well maintained.
... 888) Thank you for the attention.
We were satisfied and felt great at your hostel. 887) I thoroughly enjoyed my stay
at Camelot/Honeyville. The room was very clean and comfortable. Grateful
for the mini-fridge in there. I will highly recommend anyone a stay there.
I loved the bench swing outside and the beautiful wagon-wheel lights.
Thank you for all your help in reserving this room. 886) ... It was my first experience
at a hostel and I really enjoyed it. The customer service was on point
and it was a clean, cute and cozy. Other guests were polite and respectful.
Would highly recommend and I plan to come back for my visits to SLC! 885) Totally enjoyed our stay!
Clean! Close to the freeway! Close to 884) We enjoyed our stay. It was
clean and had everything we needed and the price was right. 883) Flippin awesome! 882) We had a blast and plan on
using you in the future. A++ 881) ... Thanks! Lovely, clean
and convenient place to stay. 880) ... Everything was great,
and I loved it how my room had a photo of New Zealand. ... 879)
Must stay was excellent, thank you! I was a little apprehensive about
checking in, but only because it was a new thing for me. The way you have
it set up is great, it was easy to follow and understand. I think the
person who thought of it so guests can check in at any time is very clever!
The whole hostel was super clean and my room was very comfortable. I felt
safe and relaxed during my stay. Your location is perfect for public transport.
I thank you for providing a towel. I feel as a traveler this is the nicest
thing a hostel can provide free of charge!! 878) We just got to the airport
and wanted to let you know we were very pleased with your Camelot Inn
and hostel! It's perfect for students who are on a tight budget and need
to get around the city, especially since you are so close to the train!
877) ... We had a good stay. Thanks. 876) Thank you for the stay, very
cute inn. 875) Thanks for everything. The
room was perfect! 874) I enjoyed my stay at Camelot.
Thanks for asking. The room was clean and relatively quiet I noticed there
are many repeat international travelers. I was grateful for a quiet and
safe place that provided the ability for me to cook and rest. ... Camelot
was great! Thanks for a good value and a pleasant stay. 873) Our stay was pleasant. Nice
room and accommodations. Thanks! 872) We are all checked out. Linens
in the waste basket, garbage in the garbage. Comforter folded. Key in
the key box. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We had a blast and
crystal hot springs was awesome! 871) We enjoyed our stay a lot!
Really good value for the hostel's location. Liked that it was within
walking distance of downtown. 870) It was a good experience!
I'd never stayed at a place with remote/self-check in, but it went smoothly
and the instructions were straight forward. It was very clean, well kept,
and in a good location. If I happen to be coming through the SLC area
again I'd consider staying there again! Thank you! 869) It was great! 868) Absolutely loved my time
there. The price for the accommodations were spot on and the people I
was able to meet, Glen especially, were great too! I've already booked
tickets to return to Salt Lake and will likely check availability when
I know for certain that I'll be back. 867) Had a good stay. 866) Your welcome. We had an enjoyable
stay ... the hot springs were good, no miracle cure but relaxing and friendly
people. Great spot, we will tell our friends and Family. 865) Check in was "different",
but so far, this is the nicest extended stay place I have ever found....and
I've travelled 45 states and a dozen foreign countries. Thank you. Staying
for 7+ nights. 864) I liked it, ... Ok interesting
interaction between, various international groups. ... 863) We we're happy with the place! 862) Having never stayed at a
hostel before, I was more than half expecting to have to put up with a
bit of rowdiness. SURPRISE! For the most part it was really quiet. ...
The location is very convenient to the interstate, the check-in process
was easy and I'll certainly tell my friends to consider staying there
when they come to SLC. 861)
I stayed at Camelot rooms for rent for two weeks while relocating
to Salt Lake City. During my time there I was pleasantly surprised at
the cleanliness and comfort afford by this establishment. I have spent
the majority of the past 9 years traveling due to work with most of my
"down time" spent in high priced hotels. I can honestly say
I have never experienced anything close to the level of professionalism
and cleanliness I have experienced here. This place is a gem and I would
highly recommend it to any and everyone. Besides the obvious benifit monetarily
speaking of being able to cook your own meals, this place has a home away
from home feel due to its amenities. The owners have obviously spent alot
of time and energy to make Camelot Inns a welcoming place for travelers.
Simply put do not waste your money on high priced, impersonal hotel chains.
Whether for a day or week Camelot Inns has you covered. 860) The room we stayed in last
time had the best mattress so far, I don't know if you know what room
that was or not. We enjoy staying there to swim at the hot springs in
Honeyville. 859) I liked the room. ... Everything
was good. I liked the heated floors and the big shower. The massage chair
was an unexpected bonus too. Thank You. 858) Thank you so much. Especially
for the discount. I will find out tomorrow if I have secured an apartment
so this most likely will be my last week. You have a wonderful thing going
on here and I appreciate the cleanliness and comfort offered by this establishment.
857) Thank you for our stay! Honestly,
didn't expect much for the price but we have been impressed the whole
time! We will definitely be back soon. Love the place! Very homely! 856) Arthur and friends, I appreciatory
all the kindness and cleanness of your hostel. I will return one day again
and visit. I had the best rest I've had in months. Enjoyed the stay and
thank you! 855) Thank you!! Charming place,Cozy!
Loved staying here! We will be back. p.s. The pool pass was a great bonus!! 854) We wish to thank you for
having such clean rooms and kitchen. The laundry machines were an added
bonus! p.s. Thanks you for the pass to the mineral hot springs! 853) Great rooms. Layout is perfect.
Everything very clean!!! 852) This was amazing experience.
I've never seen anything like this it was so cool 851) This place was awesome, so
cute, so clean! 850) Thank you so much for the
nice stay. The owner was very helpful even answer our voice message immediately.Very
clean and tidy place! 849) Thanks for the stay.. 848)
You guys are the best! We love staying,Its like a second home from
SLC! Thanks! 847) What a quaint little place
to stay. ... We enjoyed our stay. ... Thanks for the cleanliness. 846) It was great. Thank you.
Always impressed on how clean the entire hostel is. 845) Yes, I very much enjoyed
the single room. ... Very nice place all and all. Thank you, 844) Oh, by the way, checkin was
amazingly easy. Really loved the automation and simplification! We really
liked your setup at Camelot especially the timers in the bathroom and
room to conserve electricity. The beds were comfortable and the place
was really clean. Unfortunately, we only got to stay 1 night and left
early the next morning, but definitely 2 thumbs up! 843) This will be our 3rd stay
this year alone and I must say we are hooked! The first time I somehow
booked it for the night before I actually required only to find out the
day we arrived. You still made great accommodations for me and my wife
and saved the day! Just trying to get you a face to remember! 842) My stay was great and I expect
to be a guest of Camelot Inn again someday. Thanks for letting me stay
at Camelot! 841) I have had excellent service
at this hostel, and would love to be able to recommend it to others. I
was provided excellent service booking and staying at your hostel, and
stayed there several times while I was looking for an apartment in Salt
Lake City. 840) Thank you for the great accommodations,
especially when prices every where else in Salt Lake City or Ogden are
three to four times higher, I got my money's worth was good hospitality.
839) We are very happy with our
room. Thanks for being so nice. 838) I've just loved the place!
It's been such a great experience... Has helped me a ton. Thanks for all
you do! Dave. ... I'll look for those people from Georgia. And you can
count on an excellent review!!| 837)
It was great at your hostel, we found everything that we needed. Thanks. 836) It's the best stay in the
U.S.!! Good place to stay and really creative idea about this hostel!
My family and I enjoy our stay really really much!!!!! 835) Out stay ended up fine and
we would consider staying here again in the future. Very quaint little
place; and I guess some of the above issues help add to the overall memories
and experience. 834) It was absolutely wonderful.
Thanks for asking. I wanna come back a lot :-) Thanks so much for making
my holiday getaway so safe and comfy! 833) We spent 2 nights at Camelot
Inn over the July 4th weekend. We needed something that was close to the
in-laws. Although our room only had a twin bed and not a queen, it was
still big enough to be enjoyable. Everything was clean and quiet. It was
a reasonable price and I told my wife, Id be happy to stay
here again. Thanks for a nice clean room just where we needed it.
832) Thank you for another night's
stay. In addition to the upgrades outside (paint, chair, fruit plants)
I appreciate keeping up the inside including the multiple refrigerators
and the room tv with USB & HDMI ports. 831) Everything was great no complaints
at all! 5 stars 830) I did enjoy my stay with
you a lot. I was really amazed at how quiet and peaceful the room was.
Everything was so clean and I thought it was such a nice touch to have
some shampoo and other things in the shower that guests could use. If
I ever come to Salt Lake City again, I will definitely stay with you. 829) Thanks for your help both
times I phoned you. The Check in directions and key lock information was
easy to follow. Thanks again. 828) Camelot is a great place;
clean, quiet, convenient. Will repeat stay the next time Im in slc.
thanks. 827) We liked the stay with you
as it was very clean and conveniently situated. 826)
For most of the last 20 years I have stayed in hostels, bed &
breakfast places, hotels large and small across Western and eastern Europe. 825) I generally liked my stay
at the Camelot Inn, which is why I came back after my little trip to Yellowstone.
I think it's very nice that short phone calls are complementary. I felt
like the hostel was secure and clean. I also liked that one could just
phone you in case of any problems and you were on the case immediately.
... I personally found the self-check-in straightforward, even much more
than I initially assumed. When I ran into Arthur he had been really friendly,
which sort of surprised me, since emails from you guys don't reflect the
friendly nature. 824) But was an amazing experience.
Everything clean our children could play safe and the self check in/ out
was new for us. Thanks for the new experience. 823) Thank you, it was great!
Great crowd at the Hostel, easy enough to check in...though I didn't see
the email with instructions until I actually arrived at the door. 822) Our stay was wonderful. It
was very nice to be able to cook. The room was very clean and cozy. 821) Those negative reviews? Sounds
like a different place they stayed.... 820) It was different doing things
with out a person there, but all was very smooth. You have a very cutting
edge concept! Your facility was great and I would certainly come back.
Kind Regards. 819) Awesome! No stupid employees
to talk to, just get my key and help myself to my own room. I loved it.
Very smart business model. Wish I thought of it and I'm sure the rest
of the hotel world will catch on to this great idea. Nice cozy room was
awesome. 818) I really enjoyed my stay
at Camelot. In my next trip to SLC, certainly I will book Camelot again. 817) We really enjoyed our stay.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. Cute little place that was really
close to the Hot Springs. 816)
We were very pleased with our visit. The rooms were great, clean,
inviting and efficient. Thank you for the way you have stocked the kitchen/common
area. It was fabulous to be able to enjoy such a marvelous vacation and
have it fit our limited budget! What a wonderful price value. Thank you
for helping to save us hundreds of dollars in food by being able to fix
a communal meal instead of having to rely on fast food and restaurants.
We will definitely share our positive experience with our friends and
family and recommend to them that if they are in the area, you Inn is
a great place to spend some time! 815) We met you at Snow Basin
& took your advice & visited Crystal Hot Springs after our wonderful
ski day at Powder Mt today. It was sooooo relaxing. Thanks so much for
the advice. Your portuguese buddy! 814) It was great time in camelet
inn we really enjoyed stay in there we will love to rate it for 4.5 out
of 5. 813) ... I appreciate the computerized
check-in because it allowed me to arrive at the hostel late at night,
... I received a single room with just one bed, for the normal price,
which is why i said that the "value for money" was "excellent"
and the facilities were good. 812) ... As always, I had a great
time there. You run an attractive place with a friendly atmosphere. I
enjoy returning year after year. I hope to be there again next year. I
even got to say goodbye the John, Arthur's father, on my way out! 811) There was no staff at the
facility. However, Arthur (the owner) was easily accessible via phone
for questions and concerns. Check in and checkout process was very simple
and clearly stated. 810) Cute hostel located close
enough to the city centre. Right near public transport. Clean, simple,
good atmosphere and a great stay. Would recommend if you are looking for
a simple clean place to stay in SLC. 809) Ability to check in after
midnight is very convenient. 807) I wanted to thank you for
letting me stay at your facility this year just as I had the privilege
of doing so last year. Everyone that I met including the other guests
were very friendly. Everyone made sure that the kitchen and other places
were spotlessly clean. The shower was great. There were all of the amenities
that any traveler would need, including a reliable alarm clock. The location
is excellent. On-site parking was convenient. 806) It was wonderful to be able
to check in within minutes. The room and bathroom were very clean. They
had a fantastic kitchen with a microwave, coffeemaker, refrigerator, laundry.
So if I wanted to, I could have had breakfast there. And, it was 2 minutes
walking from a Trax station. I took the Trax everywhere. 805)
Great location, they have wi-fi and the people that work here are
really friendly and helpful. 804) Great international clientele,
location very convenient to Trax and buses, friendly staff, clean comfortable
accommodations, bathrooms were very clean and numerous. 803) It was clean and close to
the train. 802) It is clean and quiet. It
has a kitchen, a laundry facility, WiFi, and public computers. It is conveniently
located near public transportation and downtown attractions. Good price. 801) Showers and bathrooms were
clean, location close to lightrail and downtown and highways. 800) The place was clean, quiet,
and within walking distance of downtown even in the winter (about 20-25
minutes walk from Temple Square, shorter on the UTA). I went in December,
so not exactly tourist season (I had the girl's dorm to myself for 3 nights)
but I still met some cool people. I'd recommend the place highly! 799) It has everything a traveller
needs (including extras, like sauna), it's clean and very quiet. ... 798) Cleanliness and high speed
wireless internet! 797) Close to downtown-the place
is new and clean. 796) Nice, very comfortable rooms,
and great linens. 795) It was clean and quiet. 794) I stayed there while on a
ski-bike trip across the US. This is a self service check-in hostel so
there is no rush to get there before a certain hour which is great. The
hostel was clean & bed was comfortable. It's possible to park your
car if there place available on the hostel small parking lot or on the
streets of the neighborhood. I would stay there again on a future trip
to Salt Lake City. 793) Was a last minute booking,
stay was very comfortable and location was great ! ! would recommend next
time to people travelling to salt lake city. Bathrooms were also very
clean and showers were always warm. It's clean, safe and was exactly what
we paid for. Don't be deceived by the outside of the building. 792) It was like a big, clean,
house, with beautiful modern showers, & free internet/local phone
facilities. 791) It was easy, private, and
clean. 790) ... It was perfect hostel 789) "Always a pleasure staying
here! Just a perfect little place..." 788) I grew up in Salt Lake City,
Utah..... and was returning home to visit family, and explore job opportunities
in order to relocate back to Salt Lake. I did not want to impose on any
of my many relatives, and sought a lodging alternative for this trip's
stay. The Camelot Inn and Hostel is an excellent alternative to a traditional
hotel, a stay with relatives, or a friend's couch. I really enjoyed my
stay and was impressed at how simple and efficient the "self check-in"
process was. 787) Very solid. Though not in
the heart of downtown, it's located right off of the light rail--so very
easy to get to from the airport. Many options available, including very
cheap private rooms. Overall was relatively quiet & clean, even with
people around in the kitchen area. Doesn't have a large open area for
socializing--which worked for me; I was busy with my own things! Safe
area; front door was closed by a keypad code, and room had it's own key.
I was able to self-check; thumbs up! 786) This was a great visit. A
hostel is still full of interesting people even if there isn't any staff
around. 785) Great comfy place. 784)
The hostel's facilities and set up are of good quality, and it is
OK not to be staffed and we do the checking in and out all by ourselves.
The beds are comfortable and everything is clean and tidy. ... 783) Very streamlined check in
process. I liked it! 782) It was a great stay. 781) The Hostel was cleaner and
had more amenities (fridge, stove, microwave, ..., even a panini maker)
than several hotels that I've stayed at. Clean room, sheets, and the room
was secure. About a 20 minute walk to the heart of SLC downtown. My friend
and I had a great experience and would definitely stay in the hostel if
we were to visit SLC again. 780) "Great hostel, thanks!!
Leaving now. Best of luck with the business!." 779) Very clean hostel without
any staff around. I enjoyed my stay there. I highly recommend this place.
778) Staff is sort of non-existent.
Self running hostel. Unique. I like it. Transportation via the metro railroad
is the best and cheap. Can't complain and will stay again. ... Other guest
were very nice. 777) Nice styling and good taste
for an international hostel. ... Very decent beds and internet service
along with use of a kitchen. ... 776) Overall, my experience at
Camelot was pretty positive. I was very impressed by the check in/check
out system...it was very hassle free and easy to understand. The facility
itself was very clean and well kept. ... 775) Best hostel in SLC! This
place was comfortable and felt safe. A lot of the negative reviews I see
here are due to the absence of staff. But the truth is, that is the procedure
of the place. There are no staff consistently present, no front desk.
I can see how some might not like this, but it's not done out of laziness.
The system is entirely automated. The showers are clean and so are the
bedrooms. It's located right next to a tram station so it's easy to get
around town.. 774)
It is a pretty cool hostel. The beginning of entering here, you might
feel confusing about check in system, but it is easy to use. Everything
is good. 773) Not really a party hostel.
Just a place to stay near downtown. Clean, decent sized single rooms.
The kitchen is nice and there are washing and drying machines. ... Overall
excellent value for the money if you want a nice spot to lay your head.
Also, the staffless check in and out is actually quite convenient. 772) ... We are back to the real
world but had the best, most relaxing evening. We relaxed in the mineral
pools and ate at a cute cafe in Brigham city. Didn't want to leave but
finally we just had to. You sure have a wonderful place up there. Thank
you again! 771) Looking for a convenient
and inexpensive place to stay during your visit to Salt Lake City? I stayed
here for 5 days in August 2013 and found it adequate for my needs. Not
many frills but I generally don't expect much from a hostel. It's easy
to find. Just look for the yellow building. I think it's the only yellow
building in town. If you're coming from the airport, just take Trax to
the 900 station and you're half a block away. Rooms are about average
and I slept fine with three other guys in the room. ... The common area
has a couple of computers and a table. Not much space if you want to hang
out with friends. You'll be near the downtown area, which isn't like a
typical city. Salt Lake has wide straight boulevards with not a lot of
traffic. You can walk or take TRAX practically everywhere you need to
go. I felt very safe here late at night, and I loved how there were several
car dealerships across the street so I could browse after hours. Camelot
is a very clean hostel. No musty smells like that place I stayed near
Taos, New Mexico. Showers are nice. ... But at least they're not shared
like in some other facilities. Refrigerator is right by the door so you
can buy food and deposit it in there as soon as you arrive, and grab it
when you want to take something with you for the day. All in all, I recommend
this place. No big complaints. 770) The place is cute and cozy,
outside looks strange, but the opposite, I highly recommend it. 769) My experience of the Camelot
Inn Hostel included a very clean, private room. The baths were shared
but private, very clean and fresh. The hostel has good kitchen facilities
and washer/dryer available for guests use. The parking lot is very convenient
and well lit. Overall, I felt very safe and had a good night's sleep.
I have read other reviews criticizing rules and lack of staff attention
but everything was explained in a very detailed email. I would not hesitate
to stay at this location again, and again, and wish there were more places
like this for a price that is less than many campground fees for a night. 768) We got exactly what we paid
for. Camelot Inn & Hostel is clean, safe, and comfortable. What more
would you want for such a reasonable price. My son (11) and I stayed there
for three days, and we both thought it was quite comfortable. Arthur,
the owner, is friendly and professional. The common areas are clean and
the other guest were polite and friendly. I have no criticisms at all.
For the price, you cannot beat it. I stored food in the common areas for
three days (wrote my name and last date of stay on each item), and nobody
stole anything. Bathrooms were always clean, and it was quiet and peaceful.
It is also within 100 meters of the train to downtown. 10 dollars round
trip ticket. Highly recommended. 767) Overall, my experience at
Camelot was a positive one. The facility was clean, safe, and had free
wifi which made planning trips throughout the city that much easier. I
liked the self service check-in system...I thought it was pretty easy
and hassle free. 766) Stayed one night at Camelot.
It's a very good hostel in a terrific location. The beds were clean and
comfortable, and I felt safe for the whole stay. Thank you for a wonderful
experience during my one night in SLC! 765) This hostel was probably
the most unique I've ever stayed in...I loved the self check-in and the
liberty that I felt I had while staying there. I felt safe, rooms were
clean, and the free wifi was an added bonus. I'd definitely stay again. 764) Very unique self-checking
system. Convenient and clean, would come back. 763) We spent 10 days in SLC sharing
our skiing experiences with 2 German girls and 2 Americans. We had a lot
of fun. Arthur came around to greet us in person. In every respect our
stay was a success. 762) A bit diferent than other
hostels, self check in was pretty straightforward, ... at $16 I can't
really complain. 761)
The youth hostel is very good, very suitable to us. Self-service check
in good operation. ... Upon arrival everything is ok, ... kitchen fully
equipped, for us who like to cook very well, chatting in the cooking and
the other roommate is a pleasant experience, it also has a separate eating
places and PC room more spacious. There is a large Wal-Mart store near
the hotel, a few minutes. 760) ... It served us well for
a night. The self check in was nice since we arrived pretty late. There
was relatively no hassle checking in and out. ... 759) Really Nice place! Clean,
organized and near trax. 758) I want you to know that I
am completely satisfied with your establishment and the ease in checking
in when I arrived. All the best! 757) "We really enjoyed our
stay. It's a nice place and we had a great time and plan to come back." 756) Good price and good location.
No staff is no problem, free and convenient. 755) Enjoyed my stay... Google
maps does not do justice in saying how close you are to the Trax --- if
I come to SLC , I will book with you again 754) My stay was once again a
delight! Easy to use the check-in, so very accessible to the Traxx (which
are amazing from the airport, and so close to Camelot at 900 S stop).
My husband & I stayed in July, and in September, I was alone. Felt
very safe, and had wonderful conversation with other guests from all over
the world! 753)
I stayed twice for five nights all together. I really enjoyed my stay.
There was no staff in sight but the self-check in process was simple and
quick. The common area is rather small but still proved a good spot to
meet fellow travellers and have a chat in the evenings. It's quite a walk
downtown, but the light rail station is only half a block away, I went
everywhere by train. Overall very good value for money. Would stay there
again. 752) Good hostel, location is
ok and self check in really easy to do. ... 751) I stayed here three nights
and it was very impressed. Definitely not a party hostel but nonetheless
it's surely the best way to see SLC on a budget. 750) This is fantastically cheap
for a nice bed, real sheets, clean bathrooms, and use of a kitchen. Awesomely
quiet and secure place to sleep. 749) People here are very nice,
and the location is great! 748) This really is a nice Hostel.
I met people from Australia there! Cheers from Germany! 747) Had a great stay. Clean bathroom,
fresh towels and linens, comfy bed, east check in and out. Will certainly
stay again. 746) ... Really enjoyed our stay
last time and are enjoyng our present stay. we will most definitely recommend
the Camelot! 745) Thank you for everything
as always Arthur this place is a gem and you continuously add new cool
little things to it I did use your iron if you need to charge me another
dollar please do it would be an honor I'm going to work looking crisper
than I have in weeks. ... It was just nice being able to come up spontaneously
on a weekday and have a nice soak I needed it! 744) I absolutly love Camelot,
its really clean and I love all the people the work here. I wish the whole
world would run like the Camelot. The person that came up with this idea
is brilliant. 743)
We loved our stay here! The rooms were clean, quiet, comfortable and
nice. The community kitchen is such a great idea and makes you feel like
you are at home. We would highly recommend the Camelot Inn to others that
are passing through the area. Also the hot springs down the road were
a nice relaxing activity! Thank you! 742) It was pleasant to stay at
your hostel. I wish to return in the near future! Thanks! 741) That this is the cleanest
motel EVER! She normally cleans her own room at motels, but this is the
first time she has never had to clean it herself. 740) We really enjoyed our stay
here! it was very nice and the self check in was great :) Thanks for everything!
739) Camelot is cheap, it's a
block from the light rail to the airport, and it's walking distance to
the heart of downtown. I would stay there again. ... all arrangements
are conducted electronically. Consequently, no one is there to promote
ambiance or help you, though when I had a problem, my phone call was returned
promptly and the issue was solved. ... bathrooms and bedrooms are clean.
738) I had a great stay. Very
cool set-up. I felt at home there. 737) I stayed only for one night
and the only thing I did was to take a shower and go to sleep. Shower
was in much better state than in most of the hostels, very clean. The
whole self check-in system is a bit bizarre, but works perfectly and is
fairly easy. 736)
Staying at Camelot Inn & Hotel was a wonderful experience. The
self-checkin was wonderful since we ended up arriving quite late. The
place was very safe and very clean. I would most definitely stay here
again! 735) This is a very nice clean
hostel with good amenities. Lots of bathrooms! Will definitely stay again.
734) I stayed there two different
times coming to and leaving salt lake. Got in late left early both days,
Really easy and secure to check in and check out. Would definitely stay
there again! 733) Great value for money hostel!
732) My room is so nice and clean.
Thank you so much. 731) It was good, clean room,
no noise, I could sleep very good, I used the Kitchen and refrigerator.
730) Loved this place -inexpensive,
clean, great location next to trax public transportation. Nice people
staying there-very nice staff 729) Thank you so much! Needed
a little getaway and your hostel was exactly what we wanted! Yay! Thank
you for our stay! Honestly, didn't expect much for the price but we have
been impressed the whole time! We will definitely be back soon. LOVE the
place! 728) Great location to relax and
recharge. The hostel is very different to any other I've been to - definitely
more like an apartment building. Very well maintained though.
727) Thanks Arthur. Your place
is great. I will recommend it to all my friends. 726) Great stay at the hostel
in SLC! They have a shared kitchen, bathrooms and computers. Great little
setup. Hostels are a good option if you like meeting people and are on
a budget. ... 725) I had a very nice stay at
your hostel. I found my room clean and cozy and the facilities were well
maintained. I found the self check in very easy to use and seemed a lot
quicker than checking in at a front desk. The common area are nice and
I was able to meet several wonderful people. I hope to be back in the
future. Thank you. 724) People in the hostel was
so kind and friendly and my room was comfortable. I hope I come here again!
Thank you. 723) I truly enjoyed my stay in
Honeyville. I loved how clean and nice the room was! I loved the fact
that the kitchen was fully equipped and ready to use. I also noticed a
BBQ grill outside and a fire pit! I look forward to utilizing those during
my next stay. After relaxing in the hotsprings, it was nice to just drive
down the street, pop some popcorn, put in a movie and relax in the room.
Thanks for a awesome getaway. It truly felt like a home away from home!
(just a side note, I am not sure what it was about the room, but it gave
me memories in hotels I have stayed in Ghana which says a lot because
I absolutely LOVE Ghana! Kinda weird, I know, but anyway, LOVED the room.
I cant wait to stay again!) 722) As a first time visitor to
Salt Lake City I had heard many rave reviews of the ski resorts in the
area but didn't know what to expect in terms of lodging. I ended up booking
a room at the Camelot Inn & Hostel. When I arrived, I went through
the creative self-check-in journey. After this little adventure, I got
my room key and settled in. I spent the week in perfect comfort and loved
the fact that I was able to cook my own meals in the kitchen. I also enjoyed
the atmosphere in the hostel, met many interesting characters while I
was there, and made some friends from all over the world. The location
was safe and offered very convenient access to some world class skiing.
I had privacy in my room when I wanted, and socializing when I wasn't
working. All in all it was the perfect accommodations at the right price
for me. I would definitely recommend it to anybody visiting Salt Lake
City on a budget. 721) This was a really good experience.
For the money, you can't beat it with a stick! 720) This place gets way too bad
of a rap. It's fantastic. My friend and I had absolutely no issues here
on our four-night visit in a private double room. The rooms are great,
everything is very clean, the place is secure and the parking lot has
cameras monitoring it. If you just follow the rules that they clearly
lay out, you won't have any issues or surprise charges hitting your credit
card. Very happy with our time here and would absolutely stay again. 719)
I will definitely stay at the Camelot Inn again when I am in Salt
Lake City...the TRAX stop is just around the corner... very convenient!
I hopped on either the Blue or Green trains and they took me quickly and
pleasantly to the Temple Square stop across from the Salt Palace. TRAX
will soon have service all the way from the airport into SLC. Nice neighborhood. 718) This is the second time I've
stayed at The Camelot Inn and Hostel and am definitely pleased with it
in every way. The location is great as it's right next to the Trax stop
and stores are within walking distance. The Hostel is clean with linens
and towels being provided. It was definitely a home away from home. 717) Very neat thing this all
Automatic hostel I liked the atmosphere...Unbeatble Pricevalue. 716) Excellent service. Staff
was friendly, humorous, and helpful. Every amenity I needed or asked for
was available for use...I would definitely stay again. 715) This is a very good hostel.
Very quiet. The staff is helpful. 714) I'm on a road trip through
out the U.S. and I've stayed at hostels all over. This hostel is by far
the best one I stayed at. It is immaculately spotless. The building is
in the best condition of any hostel. The security is the best I've seen.
The parking lot looks brand new, like they just paved it. calls made to
the staff were received with incredible friendliness. Perfect for the
autonomous, self-respecting traveler. 713) The Communication was very
good with Camelot Inn. The email information was very informative. All
questions were answered in their Q&A. I needed storage on the last
day and it was handled professionally. The Trax train was just around
the corner and 7-11 was just down the block. My son is a smoker and they
had an area outside away from the windows. I would recommend anyone looking
for a Hostel to stay at the first Camelot Inn. I felt very safe there. 712) Excellent stay. Phone calls
made to the staff were received with incredible friendliness. Perfect
for the autonomous, self-respecting traveler. 711) This was my first stay in
a Hostel. Why haven't I done this before!? I liked it when I first walked
in. It has everything you will need during your stay, if you are staying
a day or a week. There is a full kitchen, a washer and dryer and plenty
of bathrooms. Use of phone, fax and computer and TV's in the room's. It's
a secure building, close to trax...Cute rooms, different self check in,
but it works. Just don't call on Sunday they are closed. 710) The hostel is completely
self-service...it is so well set up and organised it wasn't a problem.
There is a phone number and a phone to call if you need help (unlikely).
Very clean rooms, common areas and bathroom facilities. A great feeling
of security also with cctv in strategic locations made you feel safe.
Wifi throughout the hostel. 709) This is my first self-service
hostel; although it seemed strange at first it gradually grew on me. Great
idea. 708) The Camelot is perfect for
budget travelers! 707)
I have stayed at the Camelot Inn several times now since discovering
this wonderful little gem, a very unique and special type of accommodation
in Northern Utah... Whether I come with my young son and buddy, or if
I just come myself, the Camelot Inn makes the PERFECT weekend getaway
convenient to anyone in the Salt Lake City area, about an hour away. 706) I recently stayed at Camelot
rooms. It was a really good experience. I loved the fact that they have
single rooms for single travellers. The prices were really affordable
and the facilities were good. They have a well equipped kitchen for those
that do not like to eat out. Also, there are instructions everywhere that
are self explanatory to aid in the check in process as well as to maintain
the area in an orderly manner. Would definitely recommend this place to
all the single travellers and families too! 705) Just wanted to say my stay
at Camelot Hostel was quite pleasant. The directions to get to the hostel
from I-80 were perfect, as was getting in the building, checking in...The
room was cozy, neat, clean, and warm. It also felt modern and lively.
It was a great place to stay for the night, and I would do so again, easily. 704) Very pleasant, ideal for
the ones who want to spend some days in a clean and quiet place. 703) Funny system, checking in
yourself, but seemed to work well!...Hostel was very quiet...Guy in charge
let me use his printer for free, very kind. 702) ...it's a good location and
nice enough inside for a good price. 701) Last night's stay at Camelot
Inn more than exceeded my expectations. Great Hostel, great room, great
price. Being on the road with my motorcycle, I was very glad to see the
parking lot and felt safe leaving my bike overnight. If I am ever back
in SLC, I will be staying there again!! 700)
Stayed for 2 nights in September 2012 and was amazing. Was alone in
2 bed dorm, everything was very clean. Kitchen had everything you needed,
wifi was available, TV in the room. Everybody I met there were friendly
and didnt have any issues...didn't come accross any homeless people in
that area as somebody warned me before. 699) ...it's a really great deal
for the price if the alternative is a hotel room. 698) Second time I stay in this
hotel, and as last time, everything was excellent. 697) It is very good! And the
manager is very nice! ... 696) I did love the place!!! Its
always clean, excellent location, has all facilities, safety because main
entry and room access is controlled by codes, I highly recommend the hostel!!!
I will definitely make reservation with Camelot my next holiday in SLC
!!!! 695) ...the housekeeper is really
great and answers all your questions. Also, the hostel is very clean! 694) Friendly staff. Great location,
close to a Uta-TRAX station. Decent prices. 693) There is no staff in the
building, but you can contact them by Phone. This was the cleanest hostel
I have ever been to. 692) I was worried about the self
check in process, but it was actually really easy, totally painless. The
room was great, price was very reasonable, and it was walking distance
(for us at least) from the Amtrak station. For those traveling on a tight
budget, the kitchen lets you cook rather than eat out, but we like Waffles
and Frites on Pioneer Square. Other travelers we met were very nice. We
will definitely stay here any time we're taking the train to SLC. 691) Nice, clean hostel in great
location. Very close to the light rail and waking distance to downtown.
Very quiet. The hostel is not really managed so be sure to check out your
confirmation and emails for door codes etc to save confusion when checking
in. Highly recommended. 690)
Great hostel! Very convenient to popular neighborhoods and the airport.
The self-checkin was easy and the place felt very secure. Plenty of bathrooms
and very clean. 689) Thanks! It's a great place
you have here! 688) It was my second stay at
Camelot Inn and Hostel and I may be coming again! The location is perfect...I
liked my stay, thank you! 687) This hostel was super clean
and well maintained. We loved the ease of self check-in and the notes
around the building made everything clear. The bathrooms were nice and
spotless...It's in a great location, a minute walk from the Trax station
to downtown. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting
a quiet place to sleep for cheap! 686) Nice little place! Never
actually saw any staff as the check-in and check-out are automated. It's
a mix of young and older...it's well layed out and the place is very clean
and secure. Bit of a walk into central SLC but there is a light rail stop
right outside and it's $6 for a day pass (worth it). 685) I was a solo traveler who
just needed an inexpensive place to sleep one night on my way through
Salt Lake. This hostel was easy to find, the other guests were all polite
and quiet and all the codes and things needed to get into the hostel that
I was afraid would be complicated just made me feel safer and were easy
to deal with. The internet was fast enough to FB and check e-mail and
the bathroom and my room were all very well cleaned. 684) Although we never actually
met any staff (we arrived around 9pm) the place was well laid out and
the management had left clear, concise instructions and rules they politely
asked guests to adhere to. The place was also spotless and close to grocery
stores (we had a car to get around). Overall, we would definitely come
back if we're stopping over in Salt Lake again! 683) Very clean and well equiped
hostel (WIFI, TV, kitchen), I can only recommend! And everything works
for codes so it is a lot of fun also! 682) My kids loved the bunk beds!
We loved the self-check-in and the clean, smart amenities. The shared
kitchen is very well thought out and we will definitely make better use
of it next time we stay. Everything about the Honeyville stay exceeded
our expectations...October is a great time to go. 681) This Hostel is fully automated...The
doors are very safe, and the house is video supervised...It was very clean.
With the tram it is just 5 minutes away from city centre. The neighborhood
is okay so far. 680)
Clean, nice kitchen, singles get your own room. All rooms have good
TV...You need to remember to write down the code for the lock on the front
door. I'd stay here again. 679) We had a great time in Honeyville.
Really like your place. I will put up a review and tell friends about
it. Thanks! 678) Thank you for bed..
The room is clean and beautiful! Thank you so much. 677) I would recommend the Camelot
to everyone looking for a good budget accomodation in SLC...it is good
to reach by car or public transfer. All in all it was a good and convenient
stay. Would definately come again. 676) One of the best hostels I've
been and it is even better than a lot of expensive European hostels. Great
place to stay and to meet new people. Feels like home away from home. 675) Efficient and cool self check-in
process...you can only get in the building if you have a reservation! 674) All good ... when I arrived
someone from the staff was there. Another staff member later that day
told me which sights were nice in SLC which was also very nice...and the
price is really good. 673) I thought Camelot Inn was
great. Super amazing value for money, very clean and safe feeling. 672) The facilities here are nice
and something I'd recommend to any friends passing through SLC. Thank
you. 671)
My week stay at Camelot Inn at Honeyville was wonderful!! The room
was beautiful. Not that I need a pretty room to be comfortable but hey
it never hurts. The bathroom and shower were huge and the bed was extremely
comfortable. I just can't say enough about this place. Will definitely
stay here again and recommend to my friends 670) Thank you for all of your
hospitality! Camelot has been a wonderful place for me to stay.... It
is with great regret that will be checking out.... Will definitely think
of Camelot first next time I need a place to stay in SLC! 669) I loved being so close to
Crystal Hot Springs (the reason I wanted to stay in Honeyville to begin
with), which is only 2 miles away. I could soak for as long as I wanted,
go "home," then back again. The room has a small refrigerator
in it. There is also a full kitchen and laundry in the common area. Be
sure to bring some basic groceries with you, as there aren't any stores
or restaurants in Honeyville (the closest is 15 minutes away in Brigham
City). I will definitely stay at Camelot again when I need a simple weekend
to get away and recharge... 668) Thank you for a fantastic
hostel experience. The instructions were very clear and we were able to
understand the procedures for checking out easily. I would definitely
recommend this hostel to others. 667) We enjoyed our stay in Honeyville
at Camelot it was a very inventive and new concept. We will be coming
up to do it again soon. Your place was very cozy and inviting we all had
a great time. 666) I quite enjoyed my time at
Camelot Inn, it was nice and quiet. My room had modern, clean amenities
and was very comfortable. Being right down the street from the hot springs
was convenient. 665) Thank you so much for helping
me out and letting me stay in this awesome room! It's a great place to
stay and I will recommend it to anyone I know. 664) We are at the Camelot Inn
in Honeyville. We really like it and are very impressed! You thought of
every detail! Thanks! We would like to rent a month, of possible. We got
married two weeks ago and are looking for an apt in the Salt Lake area,
so this would be perfect while we're looking. We also love the hot springs
here! Thank you! 663) Wow what a magical
place. I came here to get away, to have a quiet & peaceful vacation,
and now my life is totally different. The vacation rental is great, quick
and easy. The room was clean and nice. Easy to find the place with all
the signs, you cant miss it. How my life changed is the free gift
card in the room for 2 people to go to the Mineral Bath down the street.
I went, and I found out that the mineral bath has the highest mineral
content of all mineral baths in the whole USA all here in little
Honeyville Utah.I have Gout and I already have a pain free wider range
of motion, and my pain is gone. I am going many more times during my stay
here. ... What a great place to stay, especially with free tickets to
the mineral bath, making this the best motel, hotel or vacation rental
anywhere in Utah, and especially in Honeyville. Go check it out. 662) This hostel was an excellent
value: $16/night for a bed with clean sheets and towel, access to a full
kitchen and free wi-fi, computer access and television! ... Thanks so
much! If we ever find ourselves in SLC again we will definitely stay here! 661) Very clean and orderly place.
Great for relaxing and resting. ... 660)
This is actually one of the best places to re-coop from a hard week
the staff and accommodations at the Camelot inn @ Honeyville are super
and very pleasing luxury for pennies on the dollar. At the Camelot they
have refrigerators in the room and in the kitchenette area where you can
literally cook anything that you want just bring your own great food items,
and get your cook on. Thanks to the staff that keeps the rooms comfy and
clean just a beautiful place to get away for a day or two been there 3
times so far for the price and free passes to the best mineral hot pool
in the world makes it all worth it thanks Arthur and Jeanna for a great
experience. 659) The stay was pleasant. The
manager was also very nice and helpful. 658) ... Thank you Arthur, for
your prompt responses & generosity. Much appreciated! ... 657) This is a great place! I'm
coming back whenever I'm in Salt Lake City! Thank you! 656) Clean bed waiting for me.
Plenty of space for my stuff. This place is awesome. 655) Friendly, clean, comfy! Thanks
for a great stay! 654) Thanks! This place is awesome! 653) Thank you! It's very clean
and the people are nice! What a nice place! Nice to meet everybody! 652) I'm so glad I found this
hostel. Love it, can't wait to get back. 651) I like this place very much!
It's very comfortable and nice. 650)
I am impressed with the idea of how this hostel works. I am pretty
sure the owner is some IT man. Good job! I enjoyed it, and it was really
clean here! 649) Good place. Thanks. 648) ... Great hostel! Jimmy is
very helpful! Thank you! 647) Felt like coming home. Amazing
place, thanks for the memories! 646) Clean, kind, helpful. Thanks
for everything. 645) What a great time we spent.
We will be glad to come back. It is safe, clean, and fun. 644) I enjoyed it very much! Thank
you! 643) One of the best hostels I
have ever been in. Very clean and a nice staff. 642) I stayed here two days. This
is a nice place. Thank you so much. 641)
Big thank you. We really enjoyed our 2 day stay. This was our first
trip to the USA, and it was a lovely welcome by this hostel. The guy who
runs it is especially kind, helpful, and efficient. We really appreciated
the facilities for disabled people, especially the bathroom. 640) We love it here so much!
Thanks! 639) LOVE the set up!! Very convenient
and close to all SLC has to offer! 638) My wife and I stayed in this
hostel for two weeks. We had a great time. This place is quiet and thanks
for everything. 637) Very clean and friendly.
Loved it! 636) Arthur the owner of Camelot
is a really nice guy willing to help out with anything! The rooms are
very nice, they have a modern look to them. So if you like a very elegant
look and feel you should check out Camelot Inn when you're in the area!
These rooms also include passes for two people to the best mineral pool
in the U.S. ... thumbs up for this, I will be going back. 635) I turned up in SLC after
30 hours in transit, and I was glad to have been welcomed by Jim inside
the front door who helped show me everything in the hostel. Awesome value
to get a private bed and a very clean and simple hostel. ... definitely
not a party hostel. I would happily stay there again! 634) Great for a cheap stay while
I was at a conference in Salt Lake. ... right next to Trax so you can
go to all the sights easily. Very clean and well maintained, I would recommend
it. 633) What a great time we spent.
We will be glad to come back. Clean, safe, and fun. 632) ... I LOVE this place. Lockbox
(where key is stored) idea is great! The signs are great and helpful when
needed. .... 631) ... It was a great stay,
im looking forward to come back... Thanks for all the cleanliness and
for keep it safe by screening people... 630) Appreciate all your help.
... Really nice place you've got and Jim was a great help! 629) Perfect! We had such a nice
stay and appreciated your responsiveness to questions. It was so clean
and awesome! ... We did get to interact with LOTS of the locals and we
talked up the Camelot Inn. We even worked with one of Honeyville City
councilmen and told him how wonderful it is...little word of mouth with
the local residents! 628) Nice, friendly-feeling hostel.
Thanks for a great stay 627) Great overall place! Even
had a small kitchen/cooking area. 626) I plan to stay here the next
time I'm in town. There was a desk, chair, lamp, shelving, hanging rod,
tv, and a bunk bed. There are two bathrooms that were spotless, and many
free extras that travelers have come to expect, (like shampoo and soap,
but also a full spice rack for the fully-working kitchen.) This was my
first time staying at a hostel and I am glad I chose Camelot. Plus the
proprietor's name is Arthur, get it? 625) I had a nice experience there.
It's not far from city center and costs a lot less than a hotel. ... 624) What a Wonderful Hostel !
Great Staff, Great room, extremely helpful, if I ever go back I'd love
to stay there again ! Bit of a globetrotter here and this is one of my
favorite hostels ever ! The people all had great energy and were fun to
hang around with. Bill and Arthur were awesome!! 623)
A wonderful new gem awaits in Honeyville, only an hour north of Salt
Lake City... The Camelot Inn! This is a brand new hostel located right
down the road from Crystal Hot Springs. It features comfortable modern
rooms, tv with hookups (should you bring your own portable DVD player),
radiant heat (no noise!), full private bathrooms, wifi, self check-in
and checkout. I stayed in hostels on a family trip overseas but this is
much more. A shared FULL kitchen awaits and fridges in the room (and a
full one in shared kitchen) you can bring food and cook just like you're
at home, then eat in kitchen or take the handy tray from your room and
carry it back. No need to do laundry before coming, just pack it with
you and do it here! Thinking about a weekend getaway with your family,
someone special, or just yourself? Maybe a nice soak in the mineral pools
at Crystal Hot Springs? Well don't wait until Saturday anymore... Book
a room and come up Friday!! If you need anything, Brigham City exit 362
(10 miles before Honeyville) has a Walmart and other establishments. What
a TREAT to be able to stay so closely with all the amenities instead of
driving back! 622) The location is really convenient,
right off the freeway and within very close distance of a lot of restaurants
and places to check out. ... You get what you pay for, it's awesome if
you're laid back and are just looking for a cool hostel to stay at. 621) We had a great stay, thanks
for having us! 620) Camelot, I liked living here
very much and plan on returning later this year. 619) Overall, I had a great stay.
The place was very clean and well-kept and the hostel maintained a very
respectful environment in regards to the other individuals staying there.
It also felt incredibly safe due to the security cameras and keypad entrance.
I had a good nights sleep and I would definitely recommend it to a friend. 618) My stay at the Camelot Inn
was AWESOME. the check-in system is really pretty simple and convenient,
the rooms are nice, and the people I met were great. Everything was clean
and the atmosphere was really nice. There are instructions posted about
everything (checking in, getting the keys, checking out, etc). Very cool,
laid back. I recommend it. 617) Things I loved about Camelot:
Arthur the owner of Camelot is a really nice guy, willing to help out
with anything! The rooms are very nice, they have a modern look to them.
So if you like a very elegant look and feel you should check out Camelot
Inn if you're in the area! These rooms also include passes (expired March
2015) for two people to the best mineral pool in the U.S. 616) It's location near Crystal
Hot Springs is convenient, and it is two miles from I-15. The rooms are
clean and it was a nice and fun getaway. Everyone should try it, plus
there are two free entries into the hot springs (expired March 2015) with
the room, and that is a big bonus because the healing power of the water
at Crystal Hot Springs is so much fun. Thanks! 615)
What a great time my kids had a blast! No hassles, and very comfortable
rooms like a 5 star hotel with access to a kitchenette, for the price
of a 3 star hotel and just minutes away from the #1 place to get the best
water in the world .You cannot get a better deal for a place to sleep
plus the comfort of the security. There is not a regret spent the whole
weekend. 614) I am happily settled in here
at the Hostel, it is a very nice place indeed. I would like to see about
extending my stay here. 613) I was skeptical before coming
here but this has been a truly amazingly experience and you truly know
how to run a fantastic operation. 612) Thank you for a wonderful
stay, Again thank you for your hospitality. 611) The stay was pleasant. The
manager was also very nice and helpful. 610) This house is turning out
to be very nice. Thank you for letting me stay here. 609) Great place to stay while
visiting, I'm happy I chose to stay there. Low price, after understanding
how to check in, it was very simple. A great hostel to be more or less
self-sufficient. Privacy, if you want it, or a place to easily meet others.
It was fun and close enough to downtown to be able to walk, and even the
neighborhood is not that bad. Gas station close-by and taco carts, coffee
shops, and a train station pretty close to take you downtown.Thumbs up,
thanks! 608) I arrived in town at 3 AM,
but it was no problem - the self-check-in worked perfectly and was easy.
The hostel is clean, modern, cozy and has a nice kitchen and several clean
shared bathrooms. The owner was great; I called the night before I left
to request a storage locker, and in the morning I had the key code to
the locker in my email inbox. It's also right around the corner from a
rail station, which is convenient. 607) Thanks for the stay, it was
great getting a couple of weeks to save for a place of my own. 606) I was very comfortable, happy,
and glad to have had this hostel to stay at this weekend. 605) Very easy self check-in system,
great private room with bunk beds for the two of us, clean bathrooms and
showers, and even a massage chair! 604) The staff was very detailed
in their cleaning. 603) I stayed here in a single
room and also in a double with a friend. Great hostel, SUPER CLEAN! Highly
recommended. ... 602) The hostel really fulfilled
all my expectations. It is more for the independent-minded traveler, than
for the young crowd that is looking to hang out. I am already considering
my next skiing holiday, I would stay there again. 601) The experience I had was
great. ... It was a great bargain and a comfy sleep. 600)
Thank you for the great accommodations during my recent visit to SLC.The
Inn was clean and safe and perfect for my budget. I enjoyed meeting 599) Thank you for your wonderful
hospitality. Now that I know where you are, I will certainly be mindful
to use Camelot. Great, clean rooms and quiet atmosphere. For just myself,
it was better than waiting at the Greyhound. It suited me fine.... 598) Nice quiet rooms and a great
value. Plenty of shared bathrooms and I never had an issue with them all
being full when I wanted to use one. Bathrooms were very clean and the
shower even had Dr. Bronner's soap in it to boot...just like home! Thanks
for a nice stay. 597) ... I enjoyed my stay, its
a nice relaxing hostel you run there.... 596) ... Thanks to you, I had
a good time in your hostel. ... 595) ... However, it is in a highly-convenient
location: even closer to a tramstop than the site hinted. It is the 9th
Ave stop, served by all three routes. Alight, turn back towards the city
centre, walk half a block, turn right, and it is two buildings from the
corner. I would use it again ... 594) This is the first time I
have stayed at a hostel. I am impressed with how the owner uses high tech
email along with low tech solutions to room keys and entry. (Key lock
boxes attached to each room.) ... I did like the Wi-Fi and the cable TV
... 593) I so much appreciate your
hospitality . It was a pleasure staying at your Inn. 592) Self check in service was
great and very secure. You get a door code in confirmation email &
then a code for a little safe outside your room which your key is inside.
No staff on site but only a phonecall away and were happy to help. 591) Stayed here on a business
trip - our travel budget was almost spent out for the year so it was time
to look for low cost alternatives. No frills, clean, secure, and equipped
with all necessities. Easy check-in, check-out. Recommended overall! 590) I stayed for 2 nights in
September 2012 and was amazing. I was alone in 2 bed dorm, everything
was very clean. Kitchen had everything you needed, wifi was available,
TV in the room. Everybody I met there were friendly and didnt have any
issues. The walk to city center takes like 30mins, Target is like 15min
away. 588) The stay was pleasant. The
manager was also very nice and helpful. 587) Location, ease of use and
cleanliness were great!Good value for your money. 586) Very good location for traveling
around Salt Lake City, self service check in worked well, TRAX very useful. 585) Camelot Inn was a pleasant
experience! The staff is great and welcoming. The self check-in and security
and cleanliness is wonderful. 4 stars out of 5! 584) This hostel is GREAT! If you
are an experienced, autonomous, and courteous traveller who is looking
for a safe, simple, convenient, and quiet place to stay, it is a "must-do."
The self check-in is very convenient, and the owner/employees are very
accessible by phone/text. My private room was very comfortable, and the
facility has many shared bathrooms. Parking, laundry, and non-smoking
conditions are very good. Most of all, location is excellent it's a 2-minute
walk to the trolley or an easy stroll to many areas. 583) ... I really liked the convenience
of the computer check in, it was easy & convenient. ... 582) Thank you! VERY CLEAN!! Great
instructions!! 581) My wife and I stayed in this
hostel for two weeks. We had a great time. This place is quiet and very
friendly. Thanks for everything! 580) I am impressed with the idea
of how this hostel works. I am pretty sure the owner is some IT man. Good
job! I enjoyed it and it was really clean here! 579) I Loved the setup. It was
very convenient and close to all that SLC has to offer! 578) ... This was our 2nd stay
at the Camelot Inn. The staff was very nice to us throughout our stay.
The place was super clean. All the rooms were secured with a key lock
with two locks on all bedroom doors. The linens were fresh and a towel
was provided. The bathrooms had white porcelain fixtures and had a clean
fresh smell all the time. The kitchen was kept clean and tidy at all times.
The building was secured by a combination lock with video surveillance
inside and on the private parking lot. This is the best hostel we have
ever stayed in and the price was excellent. I will stay here again the
next time I am in town. ... 577)
I had never stayed in a hostel before, but I will now! Camelot was
well organized, emails were responded to immediately. Keys and codes were
delivered and were used with ease. I met one foreigner making soup at
the stove and said hello. The bathroom was extremely clean and the room
was pleasant. The instructions were clear and I slept comfortably. Many
thanks. 576) It was good to staying here
for one day. Thank you! 575) Everything went smooth and
was uncomplicated. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Salt Lake! 574) The nearest tram stop is
less than a block away with access to all three tram lines (Red, Green,
and Blue), so you can get to any of the major tourist attractions downtown
in minutes. The building has its own door code so only guests can come
in, and each room has a deadbolt and a key for each guest. You check yourself
in on the computers in the hall, and when you check out, all you have
to do is straighten your room, leave the key in its safe, and get out
before 10 AM. Easy. 573) ... There are benefits to
self check in... The room and facilities were very good and clean and
the location was convenient...Overall, good. 572) Very good concept for the
self-dependency. Nice mix of people around. Very good pricing. Enjoyed
the stay. 571) For $25, it was fantastic. 570) The hostel is really cool
and stylish. The location is convenient. Everything seems organized and
clearly explained. The decoration is cute and bohemian. ... It is well
worth the money. 569) I appreciated the thoroughness
of the service process with the Camelot Rooms. The clarity of instructions
were helpful. ... The reservations were accurate. The rooms were clean.
We felt secure and safe in the rooms. 568) Pleasant staff, interesting
guests. 567) Very good value for the money
and the staff was very accommodating to early arrival. 566)
Room was comfortable. Price was nice. THANKS! 565) Had a great time staying here
at your rentals ..you have a great staff and great renters at your shops,
thanks again. 564) Thank you again for another
wonderful night's stay. The room was clean, spacious and even equipped
with a fan which was relieving. ... Once again, the kitchen area, restroom
area and lounge were clean, convenient and appreciated. I used the stove
top to prepare a meal this visit, and found the pots, stirring spoon,
and dish washing supplies to very helpful and in good working condition.
Upon checkout, the staff were friendly and the check-out procedure simple
as was the check-in process. Thank you again and wish your growing establishment
the best. 563) I did indeed enjoy my stay
at Camelot, clean rooms, good people & close to town, brilliant, cheers
for having me. 562) I really enjoyed my stay here
at this hostel. Everyone was incredibly nice, staff and guest made me
feel very welcomed. The self-checkin was easy. ... It's also 60 steps
from the closes trax station so you are free to basically ride the capable
car anywhere in the city extremely fast. (BIG PLUS). Being a hostel you
might think are cramped or everyone is in each others spaces/business
but I felt like I was just at home. Very quite place and seriously it
is great. its beyond clean EVERYWHERE, better then some 4 stars hotels
I've stay at during the past. there are cameras at many places and they
don''t just let anyone walk-in or come stay here so the quality of people
just makes the ambiance of staying here that much better. It is a great
standard to have. ... I liked my stay here very much and I defiantly will
come back when I travel back to Salt Lake City. 561) This hostel has a lot of character
and really great facilities! I loved having access to computers and a
kitchen with cooking utensils, plus the hostel is not too far from downtown
and the best of the Salt Lake City sites. The hostel was also obviously
respected by tenants, kept nice and quiet. I would definitely recommend
this hostel! 560) I did not know what to expect.
The place was clean, check-in was easy (several computers available),the
key access was convenient and the location was near a light rail. I enjoyed
meeting other guests, a marathoner from Japan, some conventioneers from
Canada, workers from California, others from Boston and elsewhere. I hope
to stay again next May. 559) Thank you again for another
restful stay at your establishment. I appreciate the upgrades on the outside
and keeping everything clean and welcoming on the inside.I do not have
any complaints. The room, kitchen, restroom and lounge were clean. The
hostel management was accessible and friendly. The internet access was
convenient.Thank you for approving the night extension and I enjoyed meeting
you in person. ... 558) We stayed in room no.12 already
moved out and we would like to leave you a comment that your place in
very nice and clean ! We will absolutely come back and tell people to
come visit you. 557) This place was great. I showed
up after riding a train for nearly forty hours, just wanted to shower
and relax, the staff was friendly and very willing to help me figure out
my travel plans for the next day. Next time I am in Salt Lake I will definitely
be booking a room here. A+ 556) I ... feel like I stayed
at my friend's house. I loved the self check-in system, it's fast and
easy. 555) ...Everything in this hostel
is very good. It felt good to stay here, there are many facilities for
guests. 554)
I am a IT professional that has started a job in SLC, the commute
from Payson was getting to be to much. While looking for an apartment
up there was a nightmare. ... I had heard good things about Camelot from
out of state friends so I thought I would stay there while I work and
look for an apartment. ... P.S. Seems like a nice place to stay until
I can find permanent residence up here, much better than a motel and anything
is better than the 80 mile commute I have been doing each way almost everyday
:) 553) It's been my pleasure. ...
I have gotten what I was looking for - a neat, clean, quiet, private place
for a fair price. Next time I'm in Utah I stay at Camelot for sure. ... 552) Super easy to book online.
I extended my stay with out any problems. The staff was helpful with all
my needs and requests. Including checking out a problem with the bathroom
sink. It isnt really close to any one ski resort, but central to
a lot of resorts. I got the great hook up for snowboard gear, for a shop
2 blocks away. 551) ...I enjoyed time living
at Camelot House and will recommend this place to others when I get chance... 550) Just wanted to tell you Arthur,
you run an awesome house. Everything is kept nice and clean and organized.
This was my first time staying in a hostel type house and I would recommend
this one to anyone. Ive already told all my friends about this place and
told them to stay here if they travel this direction. The self check in
system is easy and the other house members were all awesome, unique people... 549) ...I really have enjoyed
my stay... Thank you for having guest houses like this. 548) Thanks for a good stay at
Camelot House. 547) ...Nice location in downtown
Salt Lake not far at all from the interstate and light rail station...clean
and in proper order...Overall, I had a good experience with the place
and understand that the owners strive to uphold a certain standard for
their establishment (requiring CC, instituting online check-in) which
I can respect. 546) Nice, queit place to stay 545) Perfect. I love that I can
text Arthur and 15 minutes later be in my room. 544) The owner of the hostel is
a very kind man. And the room and restroom there are very clean. It's
much better than I expected and worth the money. 543) We enjoyed our stay last
night. Check in was easy and facilities good. 542) ...My stay was great and
the camelot is a nice clean place!.. 541) I give your service and facilities
a 10 out of 10. 540) ...I think it's one of the
best hostel that I have been. Arthur is very very smart. And I will advertise
the hostel if my friends are gonna stay in Utah. 539)
I had never stayed in a hostel before and was apprehensive but Camelot
Inn was a really good experience. It was so well organized and clean.
I really enjoyed my stay and I will try to look up more on HostelWorld
on occasion during my worldly travels. Thanks again! 538) First hostel experience ever,
would definitely stay here again. 537) I took care of my disabled
brother so he could stay at the Hostel during a family reunion in SLC
and Arthur was very flexible when I explained the circumstances and extended
the stay beyond the original two days. Arthur was very helpful. During
the entire stay, I knew my brother was safe and secure. Camelot is a clean
environment with many bathrooms and very supportive kitchens. In my work
as an analyst, I've stayed at five-star rated luxury Hotels that cost
my company hundreds of dollars per night and I'd have to say the Camelot
Inn had more amenities available to my brother than I'd ever seen. I was
jealous! 536) It's very clean and easy
system 535) ...hostel exceeds my expectations! 534) ...I appreciate all the signage
and instructions - it makes things easy... 533) ...Computer check-in was
a breeze. The place had lots of bathrooms, free WI-FI...a clean and nice
kitchen area, and small but functional rooms with good security. The area
seemed pretty safe, and there is enough parking for your car if you're
on a road trip. 532) ...Your hostel is great I
really enjoyed [my stay] 531) I am glad I stayed at your
place. It is clean, close to downtown, and the trolley brought me directly
to the central station for my coach to Denver this morning. Thanks! 530) ... I was impressed by the
cleanliness of the hostel public areas and the private room. Although
I chose a hostel because I was looking for nothing but what would functionally
be needed to sleep for a night, your room offered much more space as well
as amenities that would be useful during an extended stay... 529) The hostel is clean and in
a good location to explore Salt Lake City. An automated check-in service
is reliable. 528) I loved staying at the Camelot
Inn. It's simple, cheap, easy, close to everything, and calm. 527) Thank you for letting me
stay hee! It was great and I like the set-up here. I will likely be back
for a few weeks later this fall. 526)
... Clean and tidy! Excellent directions on how to access the booking
and place! Affordable and great location! I have stayed in close to 30
hostels and this : ranks in the top three! : Nice. And I am totally serious.
... 525) have had a great stay here
in Salt Lake City at the Camelot Inn and Hostel. It is in a great location,
within walking distance to main sights, attractions, downtown, and shopping.
The room was very clean with plenty of room. The bathroom was clean and
had a good shower. The kitchen was everything you need to store and prepare
food. Very safe area, and the building is secure. 524) ... I did enjoy my stay. Very
convenient. 523) Great location for the price
and the staff were very helpful. 522) Everything was fine. I would
recomment this hostel. 521) found the Camelot Inn to
be clean and tidy. Good, clear instrutions given everywhere to explain
things. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Common amenities were tidy
and all appliances were serviceable. I would stay here again when in town.
Bathrooms were clean and never found I had to wait for a bathroom. The
grounds are pleasant enough. There's a nice, informal sitting area outside
to have meals on warm summer evenings. Close to TRAX. Really convenient
and quiet at night. 520) Hostel location by Trax system
was great. The staff was very present and involved, making certain that
certain questions were answered. No problems with security or parking.
519) I did enjoy the stay at Camelot
Inn. The room is clean and everything is very organized and tidy. The
free Wi-Fi internet is very handy and for a traveler on the road, Camelot
Inn was a good choice. Thank you. 518) Hi, Arthur,... I wanted you
to know that I am very grateful for the time and effort you have put in,
to help me out and for being very kind to me throughout my entire stay
here. Thank you for everything ... I am grateful for it and appreciate
it a lot.... 517) Thank you very much for providing
this wonderful facility. My stay here so far has been very pleasant. If
I am ever back in the Salt Lake area, I will be sure to look you up again.
After this experience, I plan to make further use of the hostel system
in my travels. 516) Thanks for the stay at your
place. Very nice accommodations. This is amongst the best of the Hostels
in which I have stayed, and amongst the most convenient to downtown. 515) The home is secure, clean
and centrally located with most downtown sites less than a mile walk.
The ski bus stop is less than two blocks away and the train (TRAX) runs
a literal stones throw away. The kitchen and bath were very clean and
the shower water hot. The self check-in system made coming and going ultra
convenient. ... Thanks for replying to my suggestions. I look forward
to staying at your facility again when I'm in Salt Lake City. 514)
The self check-in is very easy to deal with; good price and good access! 513) ... for $25, it was fantastic. 512) Never stayed in a hostel before
and was apprehensive. Camelot was a really good experience, so well organized
and clean. I enjoyed my stay. Will try to look up HostelWorld on occasion
during my worldly travels. Thanks again! 511) Very good concept for the
self-dependency. Nice mix of people around. Very good pricing. Enjoyed
the stay. 510) The hostel is really cool
and stylish. The location is convenient. Everything seems organized and
clearly explained. The decoration is cute and bohemian. The only downside
is that the room is w/o A/C. At least that is the case for my room. .
. But it cools down in the evening. Overall it is still well worth the
money. 509) Never stayed in a hostel before,
but I may now! Camelot was well organized, emails were responded to immediately,
keys and codes were delivered and used with ease. Met one foreigner making
soup at the stove, said hello. Bathroom was extremely clean and room was
pleasant. Instructions were clear and I slept comfortably. Many thanks.
... 508) I just checked out, left the
keys in the key box, blankets on the bed and linen in the basket. Everything
went smooth and uncomplicated. I'll definitely come back next time I'm
in Salt Lake! 507)... The nearest tram
stop is less than a block away with access to all three tram lines (Red,
Green, and Blue), so you can get to any of the major tourist attractions
downtown in minutes. The building has its own door code so only guests
can come in, and each room has a deadbolt and a key for each guest. You
check yourself in on the computers in the hall, and when you check out,
all you have to do is straighten your room, leave the key in its safe,
and get out before 10 AM. Easy. ... 506) This hostel is great! If you
are an experienced, autonomous, and courteous traveller who is looking
for a safe, simple, convenient, and quiet place to stay, it is a "must-do."
The self check-in is very convenient and the owner/employees are very
accessible by phone/text. My private room was very comfortable and the
facility has many shared bathrooms. Parking, laundry, and no-smoking are
very good. Most of all, location is excellent; a 2-minute walk to trolley
or an easy stroll to many areas. 505) Camelot Inn was a pleasant
experience! The staff is great and welcoming. The self check-in and security
and cleanliness is wonderful. ... 4 stars out of 5! 504) ... Location, ease of use
and cleanliness were great! ... Good value for the money. ... 503) ...I
have to rate the place # 10 on my top list for hostels...thank you for
all your accomodation during my stay. It was very satisfying. 502) Loved this place... especially
for women - you feel safe and its in a great place - right on the TRAX,
so you can get everywhere! CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN - loved it! 501) The Rooms were very comfortable,
Not an overly social place ...a good value for money... 500)
My visit to Camelot rooms was
a good experience, and I recommend staying there. 499)... We had a lot of fun. Arthur
came around to greet us in person. In every respect our stay was a success.
. 498) Hello Arthur, 497) Arthur,...Thank you very much
for providing this wonderful facility. My stay here so far has been very
pleasant. If I am ever back in tbe Salt Lake area I will be sure to look
you up again. After this experience I plan to make further 496) Dear Arthur, Thank you, I
have a nice time at the Camelot.Good things about the Camelot: 495) Thank you Arthur, It was a
great stay! 494)
Hi, Arthur, ... I wanted you to know that I am very
grateful for the time and effort you have put in, to help me out and for
being very kind to me throughout my entire stay here. 493) Hi Arthur, it was nice talking
to you and being in you sweet hostel. 492) I've stayed at a lot of hostels
and this is one of the better ones I have visited. I had no problem checking
in late since the process was automatic and I had no problem checking
out early. The price for the private room was very reasonable and the
entire hostel was extremely clean. Another nice thing about this hostel
is how easy it was to find.... The paint on the outside of the hostel
makes it so easy to find. The only regret I have is I didn't stay long
enough to meet the owner. 491) Easy to use and it was nice
to be able to check in at any time ... 490) I would...rate this hostel,
The Camelot an 8. I liked having my own tv, a private room, cable and
internet access...I liked having to clean up only after myself and not
others. I did not have to worry about others' dishes to clean up, which
saved me a lot of time. I also met some great people from all over the
world and was able to be social...I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend
others to stay here as well. 489) This hostel (Guesthouse) was
probably the most unique I've ever stayed in...I loved the self check-in
and the liberty that I felt I had while staying there. I felt safe, rooms
were clean, and the free wifi was an added bonus. I'd definitely stay
again. 488)
The hostel was clean, tidy and had all the comforts of home. The location
was excellent. You could see and walk to the city center and a bus stop
was directly in front of the house. There's an excellent grocery store
with a large produce department within view of the front porch. The room
was nice - clean, large and warm with lots of storage space. I would definitely
stay here again. 487)Had a wonderful stay. Clean,
quiet, comfortable, affordable and convenient. 486)It was really comfortable to
me. I liked the room and the price. I would like to come again to use
this...Thank you and have a nice day. 485) Hello! 484)... it had a good location,
clean rooms, and secure building...social hostel(Guesthouse)...a convenient
place to stay... 483)fantastic, affordable, will
definitely come back, loved everything about it! 482)One
of the best hostels I've stayed in! This hostel is extremely clean and
safe. After looking at some of the other hostels in the area with scary
reviews, I was very glad to have found this place. I could not have asked
for nicer 'budget accommodations', it was cleaner than some hotels I've
stayed at. This is a family run business and they were all very nice and
helpful. I liked the self check in and the staff was pleasant and went
out of their way to help me every time I called or asked for assistance.
Also a great location, half a block from the train! Thank you for such
a wonderful stay!! 481)Great place to stay...with
great rates. Didn't even see the staff, but they were a phone call away,
and very help full. 480)very unique self-checking system.
Convenient and clean. would come back. 479)...it was nice stay, thank
you!! 478)Wow.
I am really enjoying being here at Camelot! I am surprised at the good
quality of all things - stove, flooring, bathroom, bedding, details of
stairway, service response times, etc... Good job! This is far better
than a Motel 6 or other "budget" accomodation. 477)...room was clean...staff was
pleasant and helpful.Thankyou, we would check in again if coming this
way. 476)We are looking forward to stayiing
there once again. Thank you and we would certainly recommend this accommodation
to our friends. 475)I arrived at 1am...but that
was not a problem with the self-check-in. It is clean and efficient. The
atmosphere is...especially interesting and there is...a common area for
socializing with other travelers. 474)The self check in feature was
great...I was only a couple blocks away from restaurants, coffee shops, etc.
It was very clean throughout the property. If I ever find myself in Salt
Lake again, I will definitely be back at this hostel! 473)...The
place is just wonderful...very clean and very quiet! Love it! The best
hostels/short term accomodation I have experienced! Your accomodations
are just wonderful...clean and quiet...just lovely!Thanks for the hospitality! 472)...it was a nice place,clean
and comfortable. 471)...I'm glad to have found you
all, it seems like you have a very nice place with a comfy, friendly,
and safe atmosphere. I'm coming in for a convention and staying somewhere
'budget conscious' is helping to make this trip possible for me...:) Thanks
again!! 470)Thanks. Your parents are really
great...helped me out in a bind. I feel at home here...I would like to
extend my stay for a month...continue the relationship... 469)The
stay here has been great! You run a great hotel/rental here. We have been
extremely comfortable and happy with our stay! 468)If you need a cheap...place
to stay dowtown, this place is just fine. Parking is convenient. No wait
for bathrooms. I felt safe the whole time. Quiet. Self-service is fine. 467)A great place to lay your head...completely
applicable... A nice walk to the main city...and a quick walk to 7/11
for little things. 466)...It was a life saver for
me... In the future if I need a place I will consider Camalot again. Thank
you! 465)...your hostel was pretty great! 464)I
just want to say how much I appreciated the staff, who worked hard to
make my stay wonderful. Camelot rooms helped me have an affordable place
to stay while I was in between leases for a month. The rooms were nicely
furnished and were virtually silent after ten which was great for me as
a student during finals week. I would like to thank the staff for the
frequent cleaning and upkeep of the building during my stay. Thank you
Arthur and Kenny! 463) Good prices and smooth checkin
and check-out services. You can walk in to town and it is easy to get
to the place from the highway. While we didn't need any help the staff
seemed very available. We had a warm welcome! 462) Good prices and smooth checkin
and check-out services. You can walk in to town and it is easy to get
to the place from the highway. While we didn't need any help the staff
seemed very available. We had a warm welcome! 461) Very good, cosy and clean,
nice location. I had a very nice stay, staff really helpful, and the room
was spacious and comfy and the premises very nice. Downtown is at walking
distance. 460) Clean, this hostel was clean
with everything that you needed. The rooms were comfy and tidy... 459)I
have recommended this hostel to my friends and other members of my conference.
The owner was very nice and helped me getting around Salt Lake City. We
went skiing together and had a great time. The hostel itself is fabulous
with all the facilities that one needs: clean showers, big beds, great
kitchen, food, internet and is 1min away from the free train system that
brings you to town! 458)...We had a great time here
and enjoyed our stay. We hope to be able to come back next year. 457)I enjoyed my stay alot and
if I were to come back to Salt Lake City again I would like to stay at
this Hostel. It is in a good location and the TRAX stop is only across
the road. Strongly recommended. . 456)Its a great place to stay,
cost effective and when I come back there this is the place I'll stay. 455)This
is a very cute and cool hostel to stay. The self check-in system and key-safe
are wonderful. You can arrive the 900 South trax station in one minute.
Room is very clean, I really love the massage chair in dinning lunge,
it resolved my back pain. Another cool thing is, you can even find some
free food in the kitchen. If you are Chinese, I strongly recommend you
to live here, it likes a cute home, and the owner Arthur can speak some
Chinese sentences very well:) 454)Room and the bathroom were
clean...there is a TRAX station next to the house... 453)This was my second stay at
the Guest House on a cross-country trip. I highly recommend it if you
are passing through Salt Lake. It's very clean and pretty quite. Thank
you to the staff- I'll stop by the next time I'm in town! 452)The customer service was top
notch. The location was great. Room was quiet and clean. 451)Arthur is the boss and excellent
people and is you need some thing only have to tell him. The hostel is
a really nice place. and the location is perfect to go to skiing because
you have the transportation really close, and this make really cheap your
travel ski. 450)Excellent
I could find an affordable private room, in a city where I do not need
to rent a car. Excellent deal! 449)Looks like y'all might be lifesavers!
Living in hotels is an expensive hobby. 448)I really enjoyed stay in your
hostel. 447) I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
Very clean, affordable accomodation. I would 446)Very clean, functional, affordable
place to stay. I really enjoyed my three nights stay back in February
at this hostel when I came for a skiing trip at Snowbird. The rooms are
small but orderly and clean. The place is reasonably quite at night...I
am new to hostels so I am not sure if this is standard but there was free
stuff to use for cooking like oil, salt, pasta, and stuff. Even though
I didn't use any of that, that was a very compassionate gesture. I would
stay here again. I also liked the streamlined checking-in and checking-out
system that could be done with zero personal contact with the people running
the place. Very convenient. 445)Very
pleased with our stay. Clean, and right by the city train system for easy
access to most of the sights. Definitely recommend it. 444)Easy check-in, clean, and quaint.
I really liked the individual bathrooms...Great proximity to I-80, so
if you're there to ski, or just passing through, it's perfect. TVs and
free wi-fi in every room! 443)...will definitely come back
to your hostel. It was really a great stay with your organization.. 442)...lovely stay. I had a restful
night and found the self check in to be very helpful!
440) ...I like this hostel, I Have
been in Many all over the world, and this is the first time I experienced
this self service Check in, at the beginning was weird, not to have someone
to talk to, after that you get use to it, and its good, you feel like
you were living alone in your own house, you just have to read all signs,
and keep the rules, the place is clean, quiet at night ,good located,
and the price is very convenient. So I recommend it!! 439) I enjoyed my stay ... For
the price, the service you provide is unbeatable. I was looking for peace
and quiet to get some work done and I got plenty of that... 438)...everything
about the service they provide was excellant. It started from the first
phone call when I spoke with Arthur and continued through until I checked
out. The whole system is remarkable, the idea that I paid for my room,
checked-in, got my key, my room, wifi, cable, and never met an employee
makes this better than some overpriced hotels I have stayed in. Nobody
was rude or unhappy working late at a front desk. The instructions and
simple step by step process is so convienant to someone like myself who
needed a night in an affordable option before relocating for a new job.
I called all around and nothing was under $55.00 for the night. I simply
was not in a position to pay that and I will not ever again in Salt Lake
City knowing Arthur and the Camelot are here. 437)...great concept! The do it
yourself procedures worked well and I was happy to find such an affordable
place to stay for a night. 436)...I had a great stay. No complaints.... 435) I will keep coming back. 434) The self check-in system was
brilliant. It saves you a lot of time and is convenient if you arrive
at odd times. Keys can be found in an own keysafe next to your rooms door.
Everything in the hostel is very clean and they got a massag chair!...
definitely worth the price! 433) First hostel experience ever,
would definitely stay here again. 432)Great
Hostel Experience. I took care of my disabled brother so he could stay
at the Hostel during a family reunion in SLC and Arthur was very flexible
when I explained the circumstances and extended the stay beyond the original
two days. Arthur was very helpful. During the entire stay, I my brother
was safe and secure. Camelot is a clean environment with many bathrooms
and very supportive kitchens. In my work as an analyst, I've stayed at
five star rated luxury Hotels that cost my company hundreds of dollars
per night and I'd have to say the Camelot Inn had more amenities available
to my brother than I'd ever saw. I was jealous! 431) ...It has been a very good
service and I've appreciated the cleaning in particular. 430) ...such a safe and well monitored
hostel. Our daughter has enjoyed her stay there very much... 429) ... was a great host, any
glitches and Arthur is a phone call away. The automated check-in is quick
and easy and the housekeeping staff is exceedingly nice and polite. 428) This is a pretty amazing operation
you have. Very well thought out. Congrats. 427)Last
night's stay at Camelot Inn more then exceeded my expectations. Great
Hostel, great room, great price. Being on the road with my motorcycle,
I was very glad to see the parking lot and felt safe leaving my bike overnight.
If I am ever back in Salt Lake Utah, I will be staying there again!! I
had a great stay. Now it has me thinking of opening something like that
in the Denver/Boulder area.... great concept.... great experience. thanks!!! 426)Loved staying here if only
for a few hours after many days in a row of staying at motels and crashing
on friend's couches. Also had a question for Arthur for which I had to
call him well past 10 pm when I arrived. He answered quite gracefully... 425)...Everything was fine. They
have a very clean hostel. 424)... $5 bike hire was useful
and the Inn is about a 20 minute walk to the downtown area. Overall a
nice, pleasant stay, I would recommend the place. 423)Very nice hostel! The cleanest
I have ever seen! Quiet! Easy system to check in & out! Everything
was briliant! 422)It was so good... 421)...I am glad I stayed at your
place. It is clean, close to downtown and the trolley brought me directly
to the central station for my coach to Denver this morning. 420)I
stayed at Camelot Inn & Hostel last week. I wanted to comment on how
satisfied I was that I had chosen to stay there. The automated system
was very simple to follow, the environment there was clean, safe and comfortable.
I didn't spend much time during the day at the hostel but at night, it
was a peaceful place. The other guest, a lady who stays right next to
the kitchen, was sweet and helpful. To be honest... I enjoyed my stay
and will definitely recommend it to my friends. 419)Thanks! We enjoyed our stay
last weekend and chose to come back. 418) ...good atmosphere, good location,
nice staff, good equipment. We were very satisfied... 417)... That a very nice place
in a very nice city. People are friendly too... 416)Was a really nice place...and
the self check in was great and super easy=) 415)I
stayed at the Camelot Inn for a night in the midst of a road trip west.
It served as a wonderful alternative to the comparatively sterile and
expensive chain motels that dot the routes of the nation's major interstates.
Arthur has created a clean, comfortable, safe, and respectful environment
that is perfect for the budget-conscious traveler -- all at a rate that
was barely half of what it would have cost to stay at Salt Lake City's
Downtown Motel 6. I'd enthusiastically recommend to anyone looking for
a place to lay their head for a night during their travels. 414)Everything was wonderful!!! 413)... the hostel is clean and
in a good location to explore Salt Lake City. A automated check-in service
is reliable... 412)Everything was fine at Camelot
Inn.Self check in and check out worked out perfect. 411)I loved it here. The rooms
were nice and clean... 410)I loved staying at Camelot
Inn. It's simple, cheap, easy, close to everything, calm... 409)
I have enjoyed my stay at Camelot Rooms For Rent tremendously. The
close proximity to the art school that I am attending, easy downtown access,
as well as its cleanliness and affordability, were all key in my decision
to give Camelot Rooms For Rent a try. As to date, I have not been disappointed.
408) It was like a big family in
that hostel!... 407) The hostel has been a good
deal... it is very near to public transportation and it has parking space
for the car... the appliances were useful especially for breakfast. 406) Thank you for letting me stay
here! It was great and I like the set up here... Will likely be back for
a few weeks this fall. 405)
I have had a great stay here in salt Lake City at the Camelot Inn
& Hostel. It is in a great location within walking distance to main
sights and attraction downtown and shopping. 404) I had a very nice stay. Thank
you! 403) I liked the...safety. Close
to transport, shops and the temple. 402) I really enjoyed my stay at
the 800 South Guest House last night (12/29/09.) I only stayed one night.
This was my first time staying in a hostel (guest house), and I really
enjoyed my stay. The facilities were MUCH nicer than the Motel 6 I rented
a room in the previous night in Lincoln, NE. This place is a great value.
Keep up the good work! 401) A
true standout in a world of dwarf hives. Nice decor and a sense of fun
and care for the boarders' experience. 400) I
really enjoyed Camelot, I felt safe, my stuff was safe in the room and
got a good nights sleep every night. I liked that there was always a bathroom
accessible and parking was easy...great place to stay, I will visit again
the next time I'm in SLC. 399) It's
an amazing experience thought it's my first time of staying in a hostel(guest
house) in USA. The location is just in the downtown of city, you can walk
to the sightseeing spot. Everything is just handy. 398)
If there were to use stars, we will give you a 4 star...it's clean,
safe and fun. Camelot hostels (guest house) are comfortable to stay, you
can actually say its "good to be home". Service was great. People
are nice to you. We will be glad to come back agian to the hostel (guest
house) and Salt Lake City. 397) Great place to stay, as it
is cheap, well maintained and super clean...great deal! 396) Thanks again for the lodging
accommodations this past weekend at the guest house. A great experience. 395) ...I had fun staying in a
nice place that was clean...good budget. 394) Really great place to stay
in Salt Lake City. Probably one of the cleanest hostels (guest house)
I've ever stayed. Very secure in the house, you need to have special codes
to get in the house and in your room. 393) Was very close to TRAX Station
easily accessing the mountains with public transportation. And really
close to downtown attractions including some really cool places to eat.
Place was pretty much a ghost town while i stayed there. Didn't see anyone
at all and had my room all to myself. Which was awesome. Great place to
stay and very clean. 392) Place was secure... 391) The hostel (guest house) was
clean, tidy and had all the comforts of home. The location was excellent.
You could see and walk to the city center and a bus stop was directly
in front of the house. There's an excellent grocery store with a large
produce department within view of the front porch. The room was nice -
clean, large and warm with lots of storage space. I would definitely stay
here again! 390) Excellent facilities, really
nice room for what you pay...The auto-checkin works well 389) ...I enjoyed the clean living
space and kitchen area. 388) ...Had a wonderful stay. Clean,
quiet, comfortable, affordable and convenient. 387)
Two years ago when I came to SLC from Massachusetts
to ski, I had the best vacation of my life and I've been fortunate enough
to have had many nice vacations. I met many wonderful people at your hostel
on that trip, but two Germans, Astrid and Heike, made that trip extra
special. I was anxious to recreate that vacation when I returned this
year. I requested the same room, #5, that I used last time, which you
provided. Thank you. However, your most amazing feat, was to somehow arrange
for the return of those two Germans, with whom I'd had no contact since
my last trip! I don't know how you did it, but thanks. We had a wonderful
reunion. You and your facility provide so many opportunities to meet and
share great times with people from around the world. These experiences
simply aren't available at other accomodations, even at many times the
cost. Your location is so convenient, in such close proximity to public
transportation, that a rental car isn't even necessary. Again, thank you! 386) Thanks for everything - I
will recommend this place to any friends traveling through SLC. :-) 385) It was really comfortable
to me. 384)
My visit to Camelot rooms was a good experience, and I recommend staying
there. I asked for a room on very short notice and had no problem getting
a clean place to stay that is very convenient in regards to public transportation
and freeway access. The proprietor is a...guy that delivers! 383) ...it had a good location,
clean rooms, and secure building...social hostel(Guesthouse) - [and] a
convenient place to stay... 382) It a nice little place. Very
quite and very nice hub to everything around Salt Lake. 381) This hostel (Guesthouse) was
probably the most unique I've ever stayed in...I loved the self check-in
and the liberty that I felt I had while staying there. I felt safe, rooms
were clean, and the free wifi was an added bonus. I'd definitely stay
again. 380) fantastic, affordable, will
definitely come back, loved everything about it! 379) ...I would...rate this hostel
(guest house), The Camelot an 8. I liked having my own tv, a private room,
cable and internet access...I liked having to clean up only after myself
and not others. I did not have to worry about others' dishes to clean
up, which saved me a lot of time. I also met some great people from all
over the world and was able to be social...I enjoyed my stay here and
would recommend others to stay here as well. 378) Great place to stay...with
great rates. Didn't even see the staff, but they were a phone call away,
and very help full... 377) very unique self-checking
system. Convenient and clean. would come back. 376)
Wow. I am really enjoying being here at Camelot! I am suprised at the
good quality of all things - stove, flooring, bathroom, bedding, details
of stairway, service response times, etc... Good job! This is far better
tahn a Motel 6 or other "budget" accomodation. 375) ...room
was clean...staff was pleasant and helpful. 374) The room and the bathroom
were clean, and the self check-in system worked very well. 373) good facilities and clean 372) Price is good for a hostel
(guest house)...is very clean... 372) The services provided are
really good including free internet and phone, and it is super cheap! 371) ...very organized, clean,
lots of facilities available, right next to trax. 370) This is just a short e mail
to let you know how we enjoyed staying at the 369) I arrived at 1am...but that
was not a problem with the self-check-in. It is clean and efficient. The
atmosphere is...especially interesting and there is...a common area for
socializing with other travelers. 368)
The self check in feature was great...I was only a couple of blocks away
from restaurants, coffee shops, etc. It was very clean throughout the
property. If I ever find myself in Salt Lake again, I will definitely
be back at this hostel (guest house)! 366) ...However, you are always
very helpful for me so I can have really great International Student Life
in SLC. There are no words to express how grateful I am for your help. 365) ...it was a nice place, clean
and comfortable. 364) I'm glad to have found you
all, it seems like you have a very nice place with a comfy, friendly,
and safe atmosphere. I'm coming in for a convention and staying somewhere
'budget conscious' is helping to make this trip possible for me. :) Thanks
again!! 363) Thanks. Your parents are really
great...helped me out in a bind [and] I feel at home here. I would like
to extend my stay for a month [and] continue the relationship... 362) The stay here has been great!
You run a great hotel/rental here. We have been extremely comfortable
and happy with our stay! 361) ...I have to rate the place
# 10 on my top list for hostels(guest house)... thank you for all your
accomodation during my stay. It was very satisfying. 360) ... it was nice and cheap...
I also recommend the massage couch... I made extensive use of it. 359) Located in safe neighborhood
in downtown Utah. The hostel (guesthouse) is walking distance to grocery
store, drug store etc... Easy to park. Reasonable rates. 358) This hostel (guesthouse) is
a good location in terms of using the TRAX lightrail to get around...
It's not the typical hostel (guesthouse); if you're looking to meet people
there's a small common room, but this hostel (guesthouse) is mostly about
privacy, which I wanted. Basic, humble furnishings. About six rooms, two
bathrooms, kitchen, laundry in a house... I stayed here in a single room
just until my train arrived during the late night. It got the job done. 357) It's an amazing experience,
even though it's my first time of staying in a hostel (guesthouse) in
USA. The location is just in the downtown of the city, You can walk to
the sightseeing spots. Everything is just handy. 356)

Hostel) far surpassed my expectations. This hostel is perfect for travellers
like myself that want a comfortable, safe place to stay at night in a
convenient location just a short walk from the city. The facilities are
clean, the staff friendly and the rooms quiet (unlike many hostels!) when
you want to sleep. The 'party' culture of many hostels is replaced by
a relaxed, homely feel due to the small size of the accommodation. I would
strongly recommend staying here. 355) Really great place to stay
in Salt Lake City. Probably one of the cleanest hostels(guest house)I've
ever stayed. Very secure in the house, you need to have special codes
to get in the house and in your room. 354) Loved it. Everything was so
well manged and clean, I was so grateful as a solo woman traveler. 353)
The hostel was clean, tidy and had all the
comforts of home. The location was excellent. You could see and walk to
the city center and a bus stop was directly in front of the house. There's
an excellent grocery store with a large produce department within view
of the front porch. The room was nice- clean, large and warm with lots
of storage space. I would definitely stay here again. 352) Was very close to TRAX Station
easily accessing the mountains with public transportation. And really
close to downtown attractions including some really cool places to eat.
Place was pretty much a ghost town while i stayed there. Didn't see anyone
at all and had my room all to myself. Which was awesome. Great place to
stay and very clean. 351) Thanks Arthur. The 'mother
in law' apartment in your folks place was a great home base for house
hunting. 350) Had a great stay and would
stay there again!!! 349) ...your website is amazing
with access to information for out of state people!!!!!). 348) The parking lot was a little
dark but it had a good location, clean rooms, and secure building. Not
a social hostel(guest house)- more of a convenient place to stay with
is like a hotel. 347) Great place to stay, as it
is cheap, well maintained and super clean... great deal! 346) Everything was just fine. 345) I thoroughly enjoyed my stay
at Camelot. It's like a funky Peewee's Playhouse... 344) 800 South Guest House (Camelot
Inn & Hostel) far surpassed my expectations. This hostel (Guest House)
is perfect for travellers like myself that want a comfortable, safe place
to stay at night in a convenient location just a short walk from the city.
The facilities are clean, the staff friendly and the rooms quiet (unlike
many hostels!) when you want to sleep. The 'party' culture of many hostels
is replaced by a relaxed, homely feel due to the small size of the accommodation.
I would strongly recommend staying here. 343) Pretty cool hostel (Guest
House). I'm a young girl who travelled alone so I found the quiet environment
comforting. The self check in and code entry gives you freedom to come
and go as you please. Fairly clean too! All in all a good place to sleep
whilst in Salt Lake City... 342)
Is the first time I stayed in a hostel (Guest House) and it was
a great experience. Great value for my money, great location close to
downtown, clean place secure I would stay there again and I highly recommend
JEFERSON GUESTHOUSE in SLC. 341) Was a really nice place. The
check-in is kind of weird, you have to do by yourself. But if there is
something wrong you will have all the help that you need as soon as they
can. The room was clean, the place is safe and is in a good place in Salt
Lake. 340) This is a wonderful place,
definitely worth the money or beyond the money. It's clean and quiet,
safe and organized. Very convenient location, very close to Smiths supermarket
and not far from TRAX station. Staffs are kind and nice. I like here. 339) Clean, quiet and convenient
- suited me perfectly. Friendly guests and staff. 338) Thank you so much for changing
the code so promptly after it was possibly compromised, and being so helpful
and prompt in getting the new code to me. This kind of proactive security
is what helps me feel safe living here. 337) Very nice and cozy place to
stay, close to the downtown, I loved the self-cheking possiblity! 336)
I really enjoyed Camelot. I felt safe, my stuff was safe in the
room and got a good nights sleep every night. I liked that there was always
a bathroom accessible and parking was easy... great place to stay, I will
visit again the next time I'm in SLC. 335) We had a pleasant stay. Thanks
a lot. 334) It was nice and quiet at night...
Thank You. 333) If we were to use stars, we
will give you a 4 star classification from 1 to 5, it's clean, safe and
fun. Camelot hostels (Guest Houses) are comfortable to stay, you can actually
say it's "good to be home". Service was great. People are nice
to you. We will be glad to come back again to the hostel (Guest House)
and Salt Lake City. 332) Thank you for meeting you
all and make my stay so wonderful. Good luck for you all I will talk to
you soon. 331) Everything went well, the
house is great, clean, quiet, nicely equipped and the rooms are very spacious
and clean. The Jefferson is a quieter, more private alternative to a hostel
(Guest House), yet affordable. With the 800 hostel (Guest House) right
next door you still meet and mingle with fellow travellers. The self check-in
system works great and is simple as 123. 330)
It's a great value for your money, place is quiet, clean, close
to downtown and freeways, internet included. You should stay here if you
just want a place to sleep without the hassle of the hotels. Peace. 329) Excellent location within
walking distance to downtown. Self-checking a bit tricky but easy in fact...
once you've mastered the technique! ...Nicely equipped kitchen, pleasant
common room, cleanliness OK... 328) It's an amazing experience
though it's my first time of staying in a hostel (Guest House) in USA.
The location is just in the downtown of city, you can walk to the sightseeing
spot. Everything is just handy 327) Nice hostel (guest house),
staff were nice when I saw them, otherwise just left to my own devices
which suited me. It's pretty convenient for downtown with a TRAX stop
one street over. 326) Great place to stay! Friendly
staff. Whenever I decide to come to Salt Lake, I will definitely look
this one up. Excellent location. Thanks again. 325) I would like to thank you
for nice accommodation in your guesthouse. It was really pleasure to stay
there. 324)
Our private room was extremely comfy, cozy and full of sunshine.
The house itself had a really homey feel to it with just enough character
(loved the suit of armor downstairs.) Overall, a great, quiet and affordable
place to stay! 323) ...we liked to be guests in
your hostel. Thanks for all. 322) Was very comfortable!!! It
was cozy and I would definitely stay there again!! I got the bang for
my buck. Thanks once again! 321) VERY NICE! We had a very good
experience here. Clean, secure and convenient! Our business trip was a
success, too! Thanks. We'll come again! 320) This is a very good place
to stay. I highly recommend it. 319) As a library nerd, I loved
the proximity to the Salt Lake City main library. 318) I found this hostel (Guest
House) quiet, clean and well located about 30min walk from downtown centre.
Adam, the caretaker was friendly and very helpful with suggestions on
things to see on foot or bus/tram. 317)
Self check-in is really good idea! 316) This is one of the nicest
hostels (Guest Houses) I have stayed at so far. It was also pretty cheap,
so I have no complaints! Thanks! 315) Thanks for the stay at your
place. Very nice accommodations. This is amongst the best of the Hostels
(Guest Houses) in which I have stayed, and amongst the most convenient
to downtown. 314) Thank you so much for the
stay! Everything was great and clean. Thank you. 313) Helpful staff (via phone),
plenty of bathrooms. Try the authentic taco stands a block away, or Este
Pizza for dinner and a beer. 312) I really enjoyed my stay at
your guest house. It was pleasant, safe and comfortable. When I think
of Utah and coming again, I will definitely think of this Guest House.
Thanks again. 311) I really enjoyed my stay here
at Camelot and in Salt Lake City. Camelot was definitely the best I could
imagine for resting here for a few days! 310) Booking was relatively easy
and finding the location wasn't hard. The check-in procedure wasn't difficult
... The room itself was clean and felt safe and the house overall was
quiet... Overall, I enjoyed my stay but some extra tips might help those
unfamiliar with hostels (Guest Houses). 309) I am leaving today so I would
just like to say that I enjoyed staying in here. The facility is clean.
I like it here being quiet. I would rate the hostel (Guest House) 4 our
of 5. 308) Thanks a lot. I appreciate
your business, especially your self check-in service. I have been here
last year. Also this year was everything without problems. Thank you. 307) Everything was just fine. 306) We can warmly recommend this
nice hostel... apply ahead of time! 305) I really enjoyed my stay,
thank you. I appreciated your check-in process... Everything with the
check-in went very smoothly, including using the computer, finding my
room, and getting the key for my room, from the safe. I also found the
simple and straightforward environment safe, friendly, and clean. Thank
you for clean bathroom, kitchen, common space, and private room! 304)
Just what I wanted - a clean, no-frills inexpensive place to stay. I'd
recommend it to anyone looking for the same. 303) The staff are nice and helpful
to find a restaurant and with the bikes. 303) Thanks Arthur, I have really
been enjoying my stay and like the room and home especially well. C level
is a great place to work and I have got a lot done here... 302) I stayed here for one night
in room A1, which is one of the basement rooms. The price was pretty cheap
(25$) for a private room with shared bathroom and kitchen... The ground
level... looks pretty nice and bright. The booking is easily done online...
The hostel's cleanliness is average. There is a kitchen on the ground
level and in the basement (I didn't check out the upper levels) as well
as the showers. I talked to Kenny and sent text messages to Arthur and
they seemed nice and attentive. The location is good, as it is not too
far away from the city train (RAX) and downtown is within walking distance...
A big super market is only a 5 min walk away... Overall a nice guesthouse
with cheap rooms... 301) Your place is nice. 300)
An quirky Victorian style 4-level house, older building but very clean
bathrooms and kitchens. Fellow guests were seasoned travelers, brainy
grad students, and business people ages 21-65 (no creeps or shady types
during my 5-day visit). Automated check-in was a novel, but e-mail walks
you through all steps clearly. Manager (via phone) answered my other questions.
Best nearby coffee houses: Coffee Garden on 9th and 9th, and Salt Lake
Roasting Co and 320 East 400 South. 299) The hostel (Guest House) satisfied
my requirements... The location was great. 298) I totally recommend the camelot
rooms for rent to anyone traveling to Salt Lake City. The place is absolutely
immaculate and there is everything you need; telephone, internet, games,
TV, washer, dryer, cooking utensils! Everything you need and all free
to use! Arthur is a really great guy who will help you with what ever
you need to know or can recommend someone who will. Wish I could stay
here longer! 297) The Camelot had many great
amenities. I liked the freedom the hosts gave me as it was a self check-in
and out system. All one has to do is follow all explicit directions for
laundry, and the checking-in and out procedures. I had a great stay...
I was very happy with my stay! 296) You can check-in anytime.
That is very nice. 295)
This is one of the best kept hostels (guest houses) I have ever stayed
in... it's perfect. It's location is excellent, close to downtown, and
easy to find. 294) I liked the ease and convenience
of the unique "DIY" check-in and "invisible" personnel
(who were always reachable by phone when needed). It felt more like a
private apartment rather than a hotel. I will definitely stay here again
when in town. 293) The self check in... is OK
really. As long as you follow the rules that are stuck up on the wall,
then you'll be fine. The room I stayed in was clean and air conditioned.
Quite a nice place and well located. 292) Overall this is a wonderful
place to stay... great overall. This was my very first experience doing
something like this and I would love to do it again! 291) If you are someone who likes
order, then I think you will really like the Camelot Guest House USA.
I really liked the Camelot because I enjoy order... I would recommend
the Camelot because it was nicely operated. 290)
Very good, cozy and clean, nice location. It's been a very pleasant stay.
I had a very nice stay, staff really helpful, and the room was spacious
and comfy and the premises very nice. Downtown is at walking distance. 289) I was pleased with my accommodations.
Thank you for the place to stay. 288) Thank you Mr Arthur, see you
soon!!!! Thank You Salt Lake City!!!! 287) It's been really nice staying
here. Clean and quiet. I will come again and recommend you to my friends.
The people upstairs are great. Thanks. 286) I stayed at your 800 south guest house
(Camelot Inn & Hostel) in Nov 2008. Quite nice and just what I needed.
Thanks! 285) Clean and well organized hostel
(guest house). 284)
Wow, wow- What Can I say. Even though my stay was a first in a Hostel
(Guest House). This was an experience I will carry in my heart forever.
The staff was excellent! Adam deserves a raise! What attention to detail.
I felt very welcome. Clean room, cleaner kitchen, modest surroundings,
but with enough decor to make me as if I was in a loving home. Come and
stay in Camelot House and perhaps you will enjoy the magic that I felt
from not just this house and the staff, but the new friends I met during
my stay. 283) Good place to stay, would
certainly use it again. 282) ... Would come another time
staying in SLC, I think that´s a good rating. Thanks. 281) A nice relaxing and very clean
place to stay. Free internet and TV in room. Only a 15 minute walk into
town. Would be more than happy to stay here again. 280)
This hostel (guest house) was totally convenient. Everything about it
was accessible. It was easy to find, easy to check in, safe, and comfortable.
I would recommend it to everyone! 279) I really enjoyed my stay and would
do it again...The bed was freshly made, and the rest of the house was
very well taken care of... 278) I would like to say that your
guest house is real success; I mean, since my arrival in Salt Lake City,
I really enjoy to come back at night at the guest house : the people are
nice, the bathroom clean, and everything is very well thinked... The room
is nice and luminous, as I asked. 277) Located in safe neighborhood
in downtown Utah. The hostel (guest house) is walking distance to grocery
store, drug store etc... Easy to park. Reasonable rates. 276)
Kudos and Good Luck. I have really enjoyed my stay at Camelot. I wanted
to let you know that I was happily surprised at how well your guesthouse
is set-up and how well it works. At first, I thought there were many rules
posted on the walls at Camelot, but soon realized that these practical
rules help make it all work well, as there are a variety of people from
vastly different backgrounds passing through. My room was cozy, everything
in working order, the windows locked, and the bathroom was clean and neat.
I appreciated any and all security measures and the helpful staff I met
here... Anyway, just wanted you to know that I appreciate the fact that
you have clearly taken such care and planning to make the shared household
work, and to make it enjoyable for the budget and long term traveler! 275) I spent 3 nights at the Camelot
Guest House 274) It was very nice to stay there.
Safe and at reasonable price. I'll be back. Thanks for answering every
question. 273) Same room and bed that I have now...
Thanks guys, it's starting to feel a little like home. 272) Thank you for your services. It
has been a nice stay. 271) I enjoyed my stay. Thank you! 270)
It's a really cool house in a pretty good location to downtown and public
transportation... their security features and online sign on is a great
idea!... I would recommend this place... 269) I have enjoyed my stay at Jefferson
and this is due to the friendliness of the owner and the clean and tidy
room of which I am staying in. The place is very safe with good lighting
and security and the owner is very cordial and amenable in answering any
questions or concerns that might occur. 268) I got in at 1am and there were just
a couple people talking in the common area. I did the simple self check
in to find the room and key code to my room, got in my room and went to
bed! Simple place for cheap. I enjoyed the night here and a shower in
the morning... I would likely stay here again but I'm moving here so I
probably won't get a chance. 267) Excellent hostel (guest house)!
I must say that staying there was a great experience. The kitchen is clean
and had everything I needed, as are the bathrooms too, and the bedroom
is really good. I felt really safe there, thanks to the pass code scheme
(both for entering the house and the bedroom). The location is good too
-- right next to the tram station, and about fifteen minutes from downtown
on foot. I recommend! 266) ...Got the help I need though showing
up in the middle of the night. The entrance is on the BACK of the house. 265) I like to stay here because , I
feel like home and people around me are friendly, place is more artistic,
old but with soul. 264)
You ... have a lot of privacy. I had a room for myself and I liked it!
It was very clean :-). 263) I was the first occupant and the
hostel (guest house) was still a work in progress when I arrived, but
the owners have been working hard to flush things out over the course
of my stay and it has significantly improved. The location is great for
commuting to all of the ski areas. 262) I enjoyed my stay, my room was nice
and it had everything I needed...the price is so reasonable and it all
worked well... 261) The best feature of Camelot is its
location. Close to shops, food, the TRAX system and thus convenient to
access everything in Salt Lake! Internet is great as is every other described
features. A good place to call home for a few days. I would go back for
sure. 260) Great first hostel (guest house)
experience. First time I've stayed in a hostel (guest house) and chose
this one because of the good reviews. I booked it the night before and
didn't get the email containing the check-in info before I showed up.
Made a quick phone call and got the information I needed promptly to get
in and self check in on the computer. Very clean and instantly met some
real nice guests. I felt much more at home than in a motel. Slept very
well. 259) Le Camelot á Salt Lake City
reste un endroit idéal pour le repos et la méditation. Comme
cammionniste c'est avec empressement que j'y revient toujours. 258) This
guesthouse has lots of character and beauty. I enjoyed my stay there.
It was homey and the other guests were quite nice as well. Arthur was
very helpful and accommodating. I would recommend this place to my friends. 257) A safe location which is quiet and
at the same time close to fun activities. The rooms / restrooms / kitchens
are well equipped and clean. The management was very accessible and helpful
too. 256) Great place. Good downtown location. 255) Of all the hostels I have stayed
at I would rate the Camelot Rooms for Rent as the best I have stayed at
so far. Not only is the price and the location excellent it is also very
clean and the staff is very friendly. It is all world class! 254) Was
very comfortable!!! It was cozy and I would definitely stay there again!!
I got the bang for my buck. Thanks once again! 253) You get what you pay for... 25 minutes
walking distance from the Temple square. Supermarket is nearby. Fully
equipped kitchen, TV and free Internet access in the living room. This
place is a symbiosis of B&B by interior and hostel (guest house) by
the character. You can contact the owner at any time if you have any questions.
He actually let me leave my luggage in the secure area after checking
out, so I could freely explore the city before my departure time. 252) At first I thought it was weird
because they didn't seem to have staff on site. But, it turned out there
was a PT manager and the other folks in the house were nice, friendly,
and most importantly in hosteling - not too weird ;-) Kitchen and bathrooms
nice and clean. Would definitely stay here again. 251) Great price and has all the amenities
you need. Arthur is very accommodating and willing to help out with what
you want. Close to down town and the Utah TRAX which makes the place nice
as well. Again, can't beat the price!! 250) This
was my first stay at the Camelot Guest House and my first visit to Salt
Lake City. I found the accommodations at the Camelot Guest House to be
quite satisfactory and an excellent value. The location of the guest house
is excellent, and within easy striking distance to anything one might
want to see or do in the Salt Lake City area. I stayed there for four
evenings, and had no problems whatsoever with finding the guest house,
security in the neighborhood, etc. The guest house staff is very friendly,
accommodating, and informative. Also, the Camelot Guest House has everything
a traveler could want in terms of amenities, laundry and kitchen facilities,
very clean and abundant bathrooms, internet access, etc. I would definitely
stay there again... 249) Camelot is a great place : lovely
house, clean and nice... the owner Arthur has been very nice. 248) Cool setup, friendly owner. Recommended. 247) ... I will say this was one of the
nicest hostels I've stayed in and would totally recommend it to anyone.
House had tons of character. The Camelot-esque decor was a nice touch.
:) 246) Very
pleasant guest house. My daughter and I felt very safe and comfortable.
Thanks for the good night's rest. 245) The location was good - close to
restaurants and other places. Be aware that the taxes and fees are not
included in the rates. I would recommend this hostel (Guest House) to
anyone to stay. 244) I was a good hostel (Guest House)
to stay, good price/quality value I think. I met some nice people there. 243) My girlfriend and I were only here
one night, from about 10:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. the next day, so I can't
really comment on how "fun" the place was. However, all of the
other ratings get 5/5 in my opinion. The only issue that we had was that
upon checking in we found that our reservation was not in the computer.
I thought it was going to end up being a huge hassle, but I called Arthur
at the phone number I'd gotten in my reservation confirmation email, left
him a message and he called my back in literally less than two minutes.
He checked the records, discovered the problem and inputted our information
in to the computer so we could check in. The total delay was about fifteen
minutes. Arthur was very apologetic, but more importantly, he took care
of the situation right away. 242) At
61 yrs old, this was my 1st hostel (guest house) experience. I was pleased.
Camelot House is a good, budget minded alternative for travelers to Salt
Lake City. The essentials (bathroom, kitchen, linens, etc.) were clean...
Security was good & I felt comfortable and safe. 241) Location, proximity to convenience
store, hospitable staff, friendly guests. 240) Clean and quiet. 239) Good price - with laundry, internet,
parking area. - it's clean and the people are nice. 238) Clean, quiet, safe. 237) Hospitality and atmosphere. 236) That it was easy to check in and
check out! 235) In
Salt Lake City, I can think of no better Hostel accommodations. The Camelot
is immaculately clean, well organized, and convenient to walk downtown.
In addition, you can walk 3 blocks to the free zone for public transportation
in the downtown area. If you are in SLC for a convention, the Camelot
is the way to go. Amongst the best organized Hostels in my experience. 234) Sincere attempt to upgrade security
of guests with the booking process. Very clean. 233) Self serve, private rooms cheap
and clean, nothing sold here was overpriced. 232) This hostel (Guest House) was a
little strange but great. Everything is done with key codes etc. that
they send you beforehand. You need to be a bit organized, especially if
you are arriving at an odd time when there might not be anyone around
to help. That said, it was very clean and very comfy. Highly recommended. 231) It was warm. Plenty of bathrooms.
Quiet. 230) Clean, safe and small. 229) Safe
and secure. Easy to walk to from downtown (ten mins from center and ten
mins from FREE TRAX into downtown (or 1 payed stop from station next to
the hostel). Excellent value for money. Easy self check-in. 228) Central location to downtown SLC
and the ski resorts. Friendly people. 227) We stayed in your hostel (Guest
House) for 2 nights and were satisfied. Everything as advertised. Clean
rooms. 226) ...quirky, but clean and reliable.
Couldn't ask more for the price. 225) Short but nice stay in this hostel
(Guest House). Felt like in a friend's house. 224) Thank you very much for a nice room
in SLC. I enjoyed very much and I safely return to Japan. Hope to stay
again in your hostel (Guest House). 223) About
a mile or a $6 cab fare from the amtrak station... It's 2 minutes from
the TRAX light rail station, a 2 minute ride to the Walmart Super center
and 10 minutes into town for $2.25. Rooms, bathrooms and kitchen were
very clean and well equipped - fridges, oven, microwave, laundry/dryer
and free WIFI! The house rules work! 222) A different hostel (Guest House)
experience... Overall good experience and will stay there again in the
future. 221) Nice, clean, secure hostel (Guest
House), with a good system for checking in/out etc. at any hour... 220) I pretty much like it. It is a very
nice place, comfortable, looks clean, the staff is nice, it's relatively
close to downtown (I recommend to rent a bike over there), it's safe enough,
they have free wireless and the auto check in is very easy... Overall
I recommend the place. Is a very nice and friendly hostel (Guest House).
And the city is very beautiful! :) 219) Clean & convenient to public
transit if you have an agenda planned. Not a place to find fun - place
to come back to after you've had enough fun. It worked great for us coming
to & from the airport after staying up the mountain. 218) I had a private room which was of
adequate size and very good value for the money. It takes approximately
30 minutes to walk to the congress center from the hostel (Guest House).
There is a supermarket very close and the kitchen facilities are good. 217) Nice place to stay if you want to
be in downtown SLC. The local train is nearby, as well as shopping and
the library... if you are looking for a place to crash while skiing in
SLC, this will do. The resorts are a quick ride away, maybe 25 minutes. 216) Would
absolutely stay here again. Way cleaner than I expected as this was my
first hostel experience. I felt very secure in my room and the other patron
I saw appeared to be a clean-cut individual. 215) Great experience to stay at camelot
guest house. 214) Nice place - quiet, clean, great
kitchen w/pots/pan, dishes - you won't have to eat out. Whole Foods is
three blocks away, and Smith Marketplace (market) is a block away. The
bus stop is half a block, and the TRAX is next to Whole Foods.. 213) Thank you for the stay!...You have
a very nice place and I will recommend it to others and also continue
to use your services in the future. Thank you very much. 212) It's totally different... you have
a code to get in and you then check yourself in on the computer and get
another code to open a safe that has your room key... It's comical, but
it actually works well. It's a nice hostel (Guest House), good kitchen
facilities... nice and clean and really close to transport into town.
We only stayed for one night, but I would have been happy enough staying
there for a month. 211) I just wanted to say thank you for
working so hard in providing a peaceful, beautiful, and friendly atmosphere,
for all the travelers. I can only hope that this very welcoming home you've
provided may always bring rest to the weary, and strength to the weak.
Since I've been here, I've been rested. I've been happy and most of all,
I've been given a chance to relish in my inner peace. Because of this
wonderful home of refuse, my family may smile as well. I give this true
statement to you, the reader of all things good. If you need a place that's
safe, a home that's inviting, then find your way to Camelot. Rest is here.
Thank you Arthur. 210) I stayed in the 1700 S guest house...
I was really happy with my stay. The room was comfortable and spacious,
and very clean. It was nice to have a full kitchen too... Definitely good
value for the price I paid and I will book with you again next time I
ski at Snowbird. Cheers. 209) Really
handy if you don't have a car as the TRAX is really close. Staff are very
helpful and hostel (Guest House) is great. Lots of bathrooms, so no queues
in the morning. Great place to stay in Salt lake. 208) Thanks for a great stay. No problems staying
in the overflow house... Thanks again. 207) Thank you very much for providing such a pleasant
place to stay while I was here in Salt Lake City for the Households in
the Middle East and Beyond: Method, Theory and Practice archaeology conference
at the University of Utah... as a single female traveler I can assert
that I had absolutely no problems and felt safe and comfortable. Why pay
more for expensive hotels when you can stay in a cozy house like this
with use of the kitchen? It reaffirms my general assertion after years
of research abroad that you do NOT get what you pay for when it comes
to hotels and hostels. Also, the location of the hostel (Guest House)
is incredibly convenient next to the TRAX line where I had quick access
to my conference site at the university... 206) All of wonderful and surprising good quality-
Thanks. I was delighted in the mature age and quiet nature of myself and
the other residents, as "fun" was way away from what I was looking
for in accommodations. 205)
I can tell you that the guest house is very clean, well-kept, ordered,
and I would gladly stay again and recommend it to others... Overall, I
was very impressed with the place. Probably one of the cleanest places
I have ever stayed (I have traveled all over Europe and stayed in many
hostels)...Thank you so much for providing me with such a nice place to
stay! 204) A very clean and warm place to stay that offered
all the amenities of home which included a touch of Camelot Decor. The
security cameras, keyless entry, and deadbolt locks added a great sense
of security in what appeared to be a safe neighborhood... 203) It was really nice stay in here. My room was
clean. I want to stay here again when I come to Salt Lake City! Thank
you so much. 202) This Guest House is very clean and you can
feel safe. 201) Really nice place to stay and be independent...
overall we really enjoyed it! 200) Thanks for last moment help, guys... Really
appreciate it!! 199) It was very convenient to everything compared
to some motels I've stayed at in the Salt Lake City area. I spent almost
all of my time doing research at the library, so it worked out just fine.
I had a little trouble checking in but had some help... I talked to a
couple of the guests, which is more than I have done at most places I
have stayed. 198) A great alternative for a place to stay on
a budget. Ski areas are close and the accommodations are comfortable.
I would stay again. 197) Very nice place. 196) Room was fine. The amenities were above average.
A porch to protect the electronic door lock is a good addition. The street
car is on the next street and most of the town's restaurants and clubs
are a short walk away. A good place to stay in Salt Lake City. 195) This
was my first time staying in a hostel (Guest House) and I must say I really
enjoyed it. Nice location and very secure. Thanks for the nice stay! 194) Very nice people, very friendly. Good location,
5-10 mins walk from the city center. Rooms and beds are very nice, very
safe and secure... Overall a very nice stay. 193) Almost in the center of downtown SLC, UT,
the hospitality, along with the majestic view of the mountains makes this
an ideal situation for my occupation as a journeyman fireman. I am always
looking for deals as everyone else in my profession. It's worth checking
out. 192) Great job. It is an excellent hostel (Guest
House) in a good location. Easy to find, and to get around. It is also
clean and well kept. 191) I was very pleased with the status of this
hostel (Guest House)... It was my first ever hostel (Guest House) experience...
Arthur was friendly... I am grateful to Arthur and his hostel (Guest House)
service. 190) Camelot is great!!! 189) The
room was clean and the bed was good. The kitchen, living room and bathroom
were in good shape. I went to Salt Lake City to go skiing and the location
was perfect. It is just two blocks from the bus station (bus to the ski
resorts) and it is located in downtown Salt Lake. It was easy to find
by car, just a few blocks from the interstate. Arthur the owner was very
friendly and helpful. You could ask him about everything and he helped
me. I will strongly recommend the place because of the location, good
standard and it is inexpensive. 188) I wasn't really there for fun...just needed
a cheap place to stay on my cross country trip. It was clean and had great
amenities. I would definitely stay again. 187) This Hostel (Guest House) is very good! 186) I was offered a job in Salt Lake City with
Ballet West. I only had a week to move out and had to find a place quick.
The Camelot Hostel (Guest House) was recommended to me by a friend and
it worked out great. If you are moving to Salt Lake City and need a temporary
place to stay before finding a permanent home, there is no reason why
the Camelot Hostel (Guest House) can't work for you too. 185) The staff dude Arthur is cool and very helpful.
Location is pretty close to town. Rooms are nice and very clean... Fine
if your passing through for a day or two. 184) I liked the self check in system. 183) It's really good, this place. I really appreciate
it! It's a good reference for my new trips to SLC! Thanks for all. 182) Thank you for your hospitality. I was very
comfortable here at your house and will recommend your services to everyone
I know. Thank you for making me feel at home. 181) Location is great, house is cool. Check email
for door info. The kitchen is great and there's parking! I would recommend
and return. 180) Really
very good!! I was really surprised by the cleanliness!!! The location
as well, is really good... it is perfect! 179) Good place to live for vacation. Will back
again next time. 178) Really cool!!!! and convenient!!! 177) I would like to thank you for receiving me
at 800 Guest House. Everything was well organized at the house, and I
could do the self check-in without problem, it was really easy. I was
surprised because this was the first time that I stayed at a hostel (Guest
House), it's a really nice place. 176) I stayed in room 13, bed 4 on the night of
the 22nd. I really enjoyed your hostel (Guest House). It was very clean,
the cable tv and convenient check-in were fantastic. Overall a great place. 175) It was an easy place to stop for the night,
to get a bit of rest, but unfortunately that is as long as our stay lasted.
The self check in was convenient, as long as you remember to get the necessary
number etc, and do the work before. This is a nicely functioning place.
Thanks again. 174) This is one of the best hostels (Guest Houses)
I have stayed in to date. The process seems flawless and quite easy -
a great approach to reduce the operating cost! I'll be traveling back
to Canada from California in 4 months time. I will be sure to stop and
stay here on my return journey. Thanks again for running such a great
guest house! 173) First of all, I'm really happy with your accommodations
in Jefferson Guest House. Much more comfortable than any hostel (Guest
House) I've ever been. 172) Robert and Holly have been very helpful. Your
facility is nice, clean and comfortable. 171) Everything
you could need, so nothing I can possibly fault. The self check in system
was genius 170) I recently stayed at your guesthouse on 800
S. and Jefferson St. from 04 Dec 2008 until 18 Dec 2008. The accommodations
were pleasant and the house's facilities were always clean. The staff
was always helpful and courteous. Arthur went above and beyond to help
with the issues and questions I had with my first time staying there.
I look forward to staying again. 169) Just thought I'd e-mail to say thank you quickly,
for sorting out my situation when I came to stay. It was a very nice place,
and I will be sure to write a very positive review via hostels.com. 168) I really enjoyed my stay here at 800 South.
I was in room 6 and found the room and overall facility in good condition
and an enjoyable atmosphere. I have already recommended you to other travelers
and will continue to for those who are traveling to Salt Lake City. 167) This is one of the best hostels (Guest Houses)
I have ever stayed in in my whole 10 years of backpacking. The hostel
(Guest House) is extremely clean, quiet, and the location is excellent.
Thanks Arthur for your warm welcome, and I will definitely stay there
again if ever I have a chance to visit the beautiful Salt Lake City. Keep
it up!!! 166) I had a great 2 day stay. Love your place
and concept. Hope to cross paths again. Best Wishes 165) I was there for 2 days... very private for
a hostel (Guest House). For me, the place was better than any hotel I've
ever stayed at. I felt right at home. Also, they have free WiFi. 164) Good price for your own room. Staff were helpful
and felt safe... Very good value for money though if you're staying in
Salt Lake City. 163) Just
wanted to thank you for the stay at 800...Your place was perfect! The
door guy was courteous and rather informative and the amenities were more
than I had expected!... All in all, great place and I will be referring
to friends! 162) Security features were great. I had never
experienced something like that before. Same with the self check-in. I
was a bit nervous about communicating any messages or problems to staff,
but the only time I needed to, it ran smoothly. 161) The bathrooms impressed me with their cleanliness. 160) I had a great long term stay at Camelot. I
had a very comfortable room with lots of windows. it was quiet and I was
always able to study without any interference. I stay here again in a
heartbeat. If i ever visit SLC again, Ill be sure to stay here, and Id
recommend to anyone who is passing through here. Thank you so much for
hospitality! 159) I
want to say that this has been an amazing experience. This house has been
so nice to come home to after my conference. It was perfect walking distance
to downtown and I loved coming back here instead of staying at a hotel.
Plus all the money I saved by staying here made my trip that much more
relaxing. It is nice and quiet here and I loved the experience. I appreciate
what you have created and thank you for an incredible stay. I encourage
everyone coming to SLC to stay at one of Arthur's Hostels (Guest House).
Truly a unique experience compared to staying with the mass of people
downtown. Awesome! I recommend this to everyone!!! 158) Very good and comfortable! Recommended! I
had a very good experience staying here, the place is very clean, comfortable
and quiet, and with a great price. I had absolutely no problems and everything
was as advertised. It is located in a good place, and you feel very safe
being there. The owners are very helpful and good. Absolutely recommended
if you visit Salt Lake City, and I would definitely stay again. 157) Very well-kept and organized. Thank God for
the after-hours check-in system. Overall, a fast, stress-free experience.
156) It was clean, bathrooms were clean, we got
a private room. Close to a lot of restaurants and stores... it was fine
for one night's stay. Overall, great if you are looking for a cheap place
to stay for the night in Salt Lake City. 155) What a great introduction to Salt Lake City!
I had a very pleasant stay at the Camelot. The room and facilities were
excellent and very clean. The location can't be beat. Automated check-in
is unique and easy. I will recommend this great value to my friends in
Kentucky. Many thanks. 154) Arthur
and his mother were there prepping the room for me when I arrived. I was
a little early for check in, but they were kind and personable and let
me hang out in the common area until my room was ready. The self check
in was very easy and there are signs everywhere that help you along the
way. It was great. The room was clean and came with everything listed
in the description. I was worried because I came traveling with quite
a bit of luggage in my move across the country and there were no locking
foot lockers included in the rooms, but the rooms are very very secure
and safe. I stayed for two days and had my laptop and lots of other valuables
in the room every time I went out to explore or meet with friends and
I wasn't worried about it at all. Very safe and secure building. I would
stay here again in a heartbeat if I ever return to Salt Lake City. 153) Had another great stay here in SLC... thanks
again! 152) Thank you for the stay, I have enjoyed myself
and have recommended Camelot to others. 151) Great, safe hostel (Guest House) close to
everything!! I would definitely stay again. One of the best I've been
to! 150) ...The owners were around a lot. You can tell
they take pride in their establishment and that was nice to see. 149) Good host. 148) I have been impressed with the house and your
management. 147) It's the best place for budgeted travelers
who don't need extra comfort. It was very friendly. If you are poor student...
it's the best place. I like that place. 146) ... it was a clean warm hostel (Guest House)
that felt home-like, and I was glad to have a room to myself. 145) I enjoyed my stay very much. 144) Many thanks for the time what we were in your
guesthouse, everything was exactly what we were wanting. 143) Place was comfortable and clean. I liked the
set up with dishes, and cooking utensils provided... Thank you for your
hospitality, I will be back in SLC in Nov. might stay again. Thank you 142) Found
this Guest House to be extremely well equipped and the self-service system
to be well thought out and efficient. Would definitely stay again. We
thought Camelot had everything we needed. 141) A great place, very rustic and perfect for
a visit to yellowstone 140) Pretty nice hostel (Guest House). Everything
over there is clean, nice, and in good condition... 139) My stay at the Jefferson Guest house was great!
Clean, comfortable, pleasant, and convenient. I would definitely stay
there again. 138) I liked the cleanliness, Joshua's friendliness,
and helpfulness. 137) ... Thank you for letting me stay here. I
had a great time and if I'm ever in the area again I'll be sure to come
back. Thanks. 136) The hostel (Guest House) is clean and comfortable.
I stayed for 5 days and find everything ok. The location is good, just
2 minutes from TRAX station. I'll stay again. 135) I
got to tell you this place rocks. I love it, always clean, bathrooms clean,
people are nice I wish I could stay more time ... seriously man , close
to TRAX, this place is pretty awesome, I was scared at the beginning but
now I love it... thanks for everything.. 134) Automatically, traveler can stay from arriving
to leaving without seeing one staff. Opening key is fun. It is a place
you can choose in SLC. 133) Thank you very very much for the stay at your
nice and clean and well kept hostel (Guest House)...if possible we will
come back. 132) Stay was fine, very clean and quiet. Thanks. 131) ...can recommend this to anybody looking for
an inexpensive stay accommodation. 130) This was a great place to stay. We will be
recommending it to friends. Thanks again! 130) This
hostel (800 S Guest House) is one of the best I have ever stayed in. It
has a nice modern look on the inside, check-in is easy, the common areas
are clean and the management are easy to get a hold of if you need something.
The best part is it is a 3 minute walk from the city light rail line.
I would stay here again for sure. 129) Great little hostel (Guest House)in the outskirts
of SLC's downtown. The self-check in system worked without problems...the
facilities are great (washer, kitchen, good bathrooms). 128) It was nice to stay at your facilities. 127) It's best place for budgeted travelers who
don't need extra comfort. It was very friendly. If you are poor student,
but don't disturb others with your behavior (as we all know students are
often a noisy people:)), it's the best place. I like that place. 126) Compliments to your lovely hostel (Guest House).
It is so much fun here and I will recommend it to everyone I see!! 125) Great
place you have here... Thanks much for the great place; very good people.
I have never stayed in a hostel (Guest House) before; the young man you
have working for you, is very professional. Very happy with things; the
place is so clean... 124) This hostel (Guest House) was clean and felt
safe. I was nervous, being a woman traveling alone, but there was no need.
I plan on staying here again. 123) First time staying at a hostel (Guest House).
I was ready to go to a hotel if I did not feel comfortable but did not
need to. I would stay here again. 122) Great place to stay for the night, we were
only there between 11pm and 6am, but everything worked out great ... good
place to crash on a long drive. 121) I
was looking for a place to stay for 1 or two weeks while I was training
for my new job in Salt Lake City, but I didn't t have the time to find
a place because I was always at work, so I stayed at the guest house the
first week...but I liked it so much, that I stayed for 5 weeks total,
everything was great, the place was clean every single day; bathrooms
kitchen, all the areas clean all the time, my room was fantastic for the
price. Best thing was the train was across the street from the house. All
the clubs and fun places in downtown, couple of block away from the house,
so I was able to walk everywhere from there. The people in charge of the
place are extremely nice, I will always remember this sweet lady, Isabel...she
used to come every morning and do things around the house, I even learned
some portuguese with her...and the people who stayed in the house made
it even better, college students, lots of europeans on vacations, very
very nice people...so what can I say? I had a great time at the guest
house I recommended it 100%. 120) ...I have stayed at your place quite a few
times and can't beat the privacy, cleanliness and price! 119) We stayed for 2 days at Camelot. We were pleased
with the comfort & cleanliness. The availability of proper bathrooms,
kitchens, pc & tv were very good... 118) ...I really enjoyed staying at your hostel
(Guest House) and I am going to come back on Wednesday for another night. 117) Once again a great stay. The best cheap guy
spot I have found in my travels. 116) I
stayed for two months at the 17S hostel (Guest House) and I just came
back home... I was happily surprised by the hostel (Guest House). I was
only looking for a cheap and quiet place to stay and I found a very fine
room. Free internet was definitely useful as it allowed me to work during
my holidays. The room was clean and quiet, not far from the TRAX station
or a supermarket... Arthur and his parents were very helpful every time
I asked. I will try to come back to SLC this summer and that will definitely
be the first place I'll look to stay. 115) ...we thought the place was nice and secure.
It's a great way to travel if you're coming somewhere late at night and
on a budget. Thanks! 114) Best hostel (Guest House) I have been into
so far... 113) I
was impressed by how straightforward all of the directions were, everything
was very easy to follow. And even though we got in very late at night,
we had no problem getting settled. The place felt very secure and clean... 112) Great location. 111) ...Very quiet. Got a single room for 28 dollars
with a clean bathroom right next door and plenty of hot water. Short tram
ride from the city center. I'd recommend it as a cheap and convenient
place to stay with good value for your money... 110) I
really do appreciate the fact there was a place like this available at
a very crucial time in my life. I was evicted from my apartment due to
the fact I was staying with an irresponsible roommate who I thought was
a good friend. Well any ways I can't say enough about how grateful I am
to run across Camelot, it has really been a blessing in my life. It's
in a very convenient spot for me and it's close to my work. I really am
grateful an appreciate everything. 109) This place was perfect for a place to crash...
I'd stay again for the price and location. 108) Thanks for the place to stay. I found the
room to be clean, quiet and well kept. I would definitely recommend another
stay here. 107) I was very satisfied with my stay at Camelot
house. All I wanted was a bed to sleep in, a bathroom, and fridge. I appreciated
the security features and felt safe there. Location was convenient...
Would definitely stay there again. Good value. 106) For
my recent move to Salt Lake City, The Jefferson House was instrumental
in my making a quick transition to permanent housing. Unbelievably convenient,
clean, and incredibly reasonably priced. Wonderful downtown location,
steps from TRAX, free close by parking. Perfectly working WIFI, cable
TV connection in the room, a kitchen that (for me) was always open and
available. For me, Arthur and his beautiful concept was absolutely key
to my move to Salt Lake City. I'll never forget my wonderful experience
at The Jefferson House. 105) It was wonderful to be able to check in within
minutes. The room and bathroom were very clean. They had a fantastic kitchen
with a microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, laundry. So if I wanted
to, I could have had breakfast there. And, it was 2 minutes walking from
a TRAX station. I took the TRAX everywhere. 104) The facilities, people, and cost at Camelot
are the very best. I will gladly stay again when my travels bring me to
Salt Lake City. 103) Great
place! Everything worked the way it was supposed to. It's a quiet place,
but the people were very nice and the location is right around the great
Salt Lake City bus line. If you are going to be out all day and need a
bed at night, then this is the place for you. 102) The place is very nice and comfortable! 101) I slept well, felt cared for and welcomed
here. Thanks for the hospitality. And the shower is high tech! 100) I am writing an article on 'Cheap Ski"
(how to ski on the cheap) and will submit it for publication to SKI, SNOW,
etc magazines, who will then publish it for their 2009 ski season. I am
including information on the Camelot, which I like...it is clean, nice
people, with allot of facilities that even the most expensive hotels don't
have, i.e. refrigerator, micro-wave, washer and dryer, computer and fax
access... 99) Overall, an awesome stay. Helpful staff, amazing
people. Temporary residents and visitors from all around the globe. Amazing
memories here. 98) I liked
the Camelot Guest House very much and I recommend it to all travelers,
who are going to SLC. It is not far from the downtown - I walked there
and I liked the quiet atmosphere in the house. Thank you very much! 97) I think this is so secure hostel (Guest House)
I have ever seen. It has been protect by cameras and technologies that
you may never seen in other hostel... Everything goes good and I recommended
this place to stay for a night. The toilets is clean. 96) Far
exceeded my expectations- My stay at the hostel (Guest House) was most
memorable. The concierge, Joshua, was extremely friendly and helpful,
even at times when he wasn't scheduled to be on duty. Management has done
a good job of excluding the local near-homeless population that sometimes
plaque urban hostels. Fellow travelers were most interesting and excellent
company. The facilities were first rate for budget accommodations, among
the best I've ever seen. The bathrooms were extremely clean and numerous.
The kitchen facilities (including an oven for baking!) allowed me to prepare
my meals everyday. I highly recommend this facility to everyone (and in
fact I've told many people staying elsewhere in the area what a gem this
place is). Should I have the opportunity to return to SLC in the future,
I won't even consider staying anywhere else. 95) I want to tell you that I really have a good
impression of the guest houses that I stayed at recently. The price, the
location, the system to control access (quick check-in computers), were
all good. I will recommend it to friends and would not hesitate to stay
there in the future. 94) Showers and bathrooms were clean, location
close to light rail and downtown and highways. 93) It
is clean and quiet. It has a kitchen, a laundry facility, WiFi, and public
computers. It is conveniently located near public transportation and downtown
attractions. Good price. 92) Friendly, easy-to-talk-to staff. 91) No sketchy characters. (I generally have a
high tolerance for oddballs and enjoy them usually). 90) Great international clientele, location very
convenient to TRAX and buses, friendly staff, clean comfortable accommodations,
bathrooms were very clean and numerous. 89) Great place to stay for the money. I'd definitely
stay there again and recommend it to my friends. 88) Thank
you for offering a good experience. The staff was great, and I appreciate
the help when I forgot my ID. The downstairs room was comfortable, and
cozy. Thanks again! 87) Very hi tech. 86) A great
place to stay - very affordable and convenient! 85) Lots of bathrooms, that was nice. Arrived late
and only slept here, so didn't really see anyone else. Good overall. 84) I would recommend this hostel (guest house)
to anyone traveling through salt lake. It was in an easy location to the
UTE (bus & TRAX), plus it was really clean. 83) I stayed in all three guest houses (Camelot
Guest House, Camelot Hostel, and Jefferson Guest House) for a total of
2 months during summer of 2007 and I really enjoyed my stay there. The
rooms are very clean and spacious. I can highly recommend it and I hope
that I can spend my next 82) This
hostel (Guest House) was the first one that I have ever stayed at and
it was wonderful. It is only a mile away from downtown Salt Lake and it
is so easy to get to anything. The staff was very helpful and very hospitable. 81) It's a great location so close to the UTA Tracks,
the only mess I saw there was my own, which was awesome. 80) This is the perfect hostel (Guest House) for
someone who is looking for a quiet, solitary stay... Other than that all
of our other needs were met. 79) You
can use TRAX to go to downtown, can reach 7-eleven in 2mins by foot. Not
that bad as the cheap hostel (Guest House). I liked their self check-in
system. Feel so free. 78) I am really enjoying my stay at the camelot
palace. It is even more original than I could have ever imagined. 77) Loved how super easy and independent everything
was. But at the same time there were people available to help when we
were confused. Thanks for a great stay! 76) The place is run entirely absentee, which was
a bit strange, but it's immaculate and has great facilities (especially
the sauna-shower!) and is overall a very good place to stay. 75) It's
so safe.... it's like a bunker, you can be sure that you're in a safe
area. The security system is a bit difficult, but so secure. And also
it's so clean and you have the possibility to cook, and to have cold drinks,
and food. 74) Very clean and good location. A nice place
to meet interesting people. We love this place very much. 73) You're self check-in system is AMAZING. As
I said, 90% of my time is spent away from home. If all hotels had this
system in place, it would ease the weary traveler ... It's also attractive
for the business traveler too. My trips to Utah are not covered by my
employer. Spending the money on a local apartment is also unrealistic.
Why spend $800/mo on a place you're never at - right? 72) ...We
had a great stay. The video game machine was a lot of fun, and the room
was ready for us. Guidelines (including check-in and check-out) were clear,
and I liked that we could check-in, even though we got there very late.
71) Very clean place, a bit strange checking in
without seeing anyone, but if you follow the instructions it works fine. 70) Another great stay at the 800 South Guesthouse!
The service here is consistently good and the location can't be beat.
Forget about those other hostels on the list and stay here when you are
in Salt Lake. 69) This was a great place to stay. We will be
recommending it to friends. Thanks again! 68) I did enjoy my stay to the uttermost- The hostel
(Camelot Inn & Hostel) is neat, tidy and user-friendly. The host lists
clear instructions that everything is in good hand. I enjoy sitting in
the living room and chatting with the friends I just made there. There
was a TRAX station and a 7-11 convenience store one minute away on foot.
Every place was so accessible. With the cheap price, I got the great service
I never expected. If I have a chance to visit there, Camelot Hostel will
still be my choice. Thank the host and the assistants. 67) Camelot
Hostel's (Camelot Inn & Hostel) Self-Check in/check out process was
a breeze. You can come and go at this hostel and never speak a word to
another human being, if you wanted to. Not the best place for parties
and meeting adventurous travel companions, but awesome if you need some
quiet time to yourself. 66) My first hostel (Guest House) experience, and
it could hardly have been better! Incredibly clean, very secure, and good
people. 65) It's nicer than I thought. Clean and secure.
People around are nice too. 64) It looked like a real house - kitchen not like
any normal hostel kitchen but a really wonderful kitchen like a real house. 63) Great
-- clean and organized Camelot Hostel is very clean and highly efficient.
The instructions of the hostel (Guest House) are clearly explained, and
having access to free internet use is highly convenient. The staff is
very helpful and the location is within a mile of the city center. There
are also many amenities that are provided as well including a washer/dryer
on-site. 62) This place is great! I like it alot. I met
one of the residents who was so kind as to show me the area a bit, I love
the house it's very clean and homely feeling... I had also booked a room
at a suites hotel in case I did not like the guesthouse, but one night
here and I enjoyed it very much, it's a quiet place and perfect for me. 61) Hiya, Thanks heaps for looking after Ndekezi,
apparently his stay with you was most satisfactory. Thanks for your great
service, keep up the good work of providing accessible, low cost, excellently
staffed facilities for travelers. "Good on you", as we say in
Australia!! cheers 60) Very
Clean. Quiet. Well run! It was located near downtown Salt Lake City. And
right off the main freeways which was great because I had a rental car.
They had a parking area that was private which was great. The place was
very clean. Quiet. Most of the guests where adults which was perfect because
I was on a business trip. The owner and management is extremely courteous
and helpful. I needed something because I forgot to indicate it during
my booking of my room. I emailed the owner and had what I needed in about
five minutes. Awesome! All in all it was the best hostel (Guest House)
experience I've had to date. I will definitely be back next time I'm in
the SLC area. 59) Arthur and his family are awesome. I had problems
with my flight and they really helped me out. I would recommend their
hostels over any hotel i have ever stayed in. I had a truly wonderful
experience. 58) Great place to stay. Easy to deal with and
overall GREAT experience. Would definitely recommend to friends. 57) We liked it very much! Best price value! cheap
and very clean!! free Internet, free phone, free laundry! nice kitchen!!
If you go to Salt Lake City, you should stay here... 56) As an independent software developer I find
that the broadband at the Camelot house is reliable and fast. I can stay
in touch with my clients even when out of town. I have traveled the world
staying in numerous hostels throughout Europe and at the Camelot house
is the BEST hostel (Guest House) I have ever stayed at. I never have to
worry about people smoking hash in the TV room and feel my valuables are
always secure, for example I went to a breakfast the other morning and
did not lock my room correctly, not only were all my belongings still
there - cameras laptops etc. but Arthur came and locked at the doorknob
and jam and determined it was the fixture and promptly committed to fix
it. This is a testament to the quality of people that stay at Camelot.
I have had less service from luxury hotels that "cater" to business
travelers. 55) This
is really a cool hostel, the new creative check-in system is just like
playing a treasure finding game! I think this place is even more than
a hostel (Guest House). It also trains you to self-discipline and resolve
the problems independently. It is in a very convenient location and has
complete equipment, including kitchen, laundry, WiFi and bicycle... you
just can't miss such a cool place and a self test! 54) Everything I needed I was looking for a reasonably
priced place to stay while making a ski trip to Salt Lake City in March.
I plan to return next year. 53) I liked being able to check myself in and there
are lots and lots of signs all over the place to let you know what's up.
The place was clean, cute, and convenient. The A/C worked -- it was nice
and cool and my room had a ceiling fan... Overall, it was a very pleasant
experience. I would recommend this place. 52) Close to downtown and very clean. Safe and
just as good as a more costly hotel room. 51) Excellent place to stay for a very good price.
Very friendly and helpful folks. 50) 2nd time there.... this is an old Victorian
house with lots of character and easy to get into. Free WiFi. 49) Hi
everybody ! I sincerely want to recommend Arthur's Rooms to everybody
coming to Salt Lake City, since they represent the ideal solution to everybody's
needs: His 3 Guesthouses are good for short, middle and long-term travelers
and/or tenants. A stay of 2 nights can be organized as well as 1 week,
3 months or much more. Arthurs Rooms are nice, clean, affordable and provide
a quiet and peaceful ambiance for people of all ages, as long as they
collaborate with the same spirit and rules of coexistence made with interest
for general benefit. Arthur himself is generous, flexible and offers a
lot of internal services for your comfort, always willing to help and
to respond to individual needs. Together with his parents he made this
place a lifetime task to serve other people with a warm and pleasant familiar
touch. Arthurs Rooms is a wonderful opportunity to meet others and integrate
in some time of well-organized social life. Try it and be part of it! 48) Liebe Leute gross und klein, 47) ¡ Hola todos ! 46) I had a great time at the Camelot! It is a
place near many things and we met some really nice people! 45) This is an excellent location with great ownership.
They have all the modern conveniences available at a travelers price.
Salt Lake commuter rail is close by and all the best hot spots in downtown
are accessible. Highly impressed! 44) My
stay at Jefferson, while apartment searching, was delightful. Felt like
home away from home. I liked that it's a house with room for just a few
travelers. John and Isabel are *wonderful* hosts (and their little dog,
Sandy). What a comfortable place to come back to after work: a quiet,
clean place to sleep, cook a meal in the kitchen, watch TV or check e-mail,
and chat with other travelers. Arthur, who owns the Camelot Guest Houses,
is very accommodating and timely getting back to you, too. Thanks for
helping with my transition to Salt Lake! 43) Great service & place to stay. I will be
back. 42) Completely renovated hostel (Guest House) with
great facilities. Excellent location: can walk to downtown or take mass
trans just outside the door. Great cafe (The Jade) for BLD around the
corner. Rooms are quiet and smoke free. Better than a hotel. 41) Camelot Hostel is a MILLION BUCKS! And, you
can tell Arthur I said so. The first word that comes to mind when I think
of Camelot is VALUE. You get a private room for $20 a night - in downtown
Salt Lake City! Plus, they have a jacuzzi shower with a stereo in it.
Plus, the whole place was just remodeled. I've been in rich people's homes
that aren't this nice. And, Arthur and his staff REALLY care about you
liking their place. Every time I saw him, he was smiling and doing something
to make Camelot a nicer place. Finally, more than once, I have sent Arthur
e-mails, only to have my questions answered or concerns addressed within
just a very few minutes. Who else is going to do that for you? You owe
it to yourself to stay at this amazing place, with these good people.
40) I just got back this AM from Salt Lake City.
I stayed at the Camelot guest house after my friend bailed last minute...
The people staying there were great. I even went out for some drinks with
some of them. It's walking distance of downtown, a mile from I-15 and
35 minute drive Alta... You can rent a compact car (at least to get you
to the LCC or BCC where you can take the ski bus) and still be ahead of
the game. PS: I got my superpass through travelocity, and they had: buy
at least two days and get one free. 39) This place should be a model for hostels from
coast to coast. After staying in many hostels in recent years, I find
that this one here in SLC is about as close as possible to "PERFECT".
The owner Arthur is a true professional gentleman, and has covered all
the angles in successfully building a quality establishment. Very Clean,
Respectful Guests, Quiet Rooms, Great Amenities, Great Location. A superb
lodging facility that meets and exceeds. 38) Thank you so much Arthur for your outstanding
customer service! We met your father while we were there, he was very
nice! We loved your hostel (Guest House) and will be recommending you
to our friends and family! HAPPY NEW YEAR! 37) A great option for Ski Birds! I met some great
people who were staying in the hostel (Guest House). It was very clean
and Mr. Arthur was available for any questions 24/7. TOUGH JOB! I especially
liked the free Internet and food! If you stay here you will find 100's
of stores within walking distance! BEWARE IT'S COLD OUTSIDE! 36) Clean, well organized. Lots of helpful signs
re: resources and advice. Manager welcomed us and showed us resources.
Lovingly restored old Victorian house. Other guests quiet and friendly.
Cool, old touch-screen arcade game machine plays free in the lounge. Big,
clean mirrors. Charming eccentric decor -- dragon rug in the lobby, movie
promo Obi Wan Kenobi cutout, suit of armor, fish tank. 35) My daughter and I really enjoyed our two-night
stay at Camelot Guest House. Jason was there when we arrived and helped
us figure it out. I am sure we would have done OK from your instructions,
but it was very pleasant to have his friendly help getting settled. I
travel very rarely, so I was grateful. Praise for: The whole building
smelled fresh and clean. Lots of informative signs. Good advice pleasantly
told. The building is beautifully renovated, and the decor uncluttered
and pleasingly eccentric. I do love old Victorian style houses, and am
glad to see one so lovingly cared for. A good heavy window curtain in
D2, our room... Nice thermo pane window. We loved being way up above the
street; it was quiet, and private feeling. I put my bedroll down under
the overhang by the window, and slept really well. Hardwood parquet floor
in D2 very pleasant and clean. The "magic code" back door is
fun. Nice well-marked parking area behind the house. Good instructions
in the e-mails. The coded room key box is a wonderful "self service"
idea. The lounge is pleasant, the arcade machine fun. Use of a computer.
Bathrooms clean, with plenty of toilet paper. Timer light switches in
public areas. I liked the chance to make our own bed up the way we like
it. Nice rack-style shelves in the room. Good information resources: Bus
schedule with highlighting in the kitchen. Also phone books and (vital
for us) a medium scale handout map. Thank you very much for use of a local
phone call telephone. (Our Alltel car phone can receive but not dial out
in UT.) Kitchen wall clock very helpful. Fridge space/microwave. Good
idea to label everything. You keep the place imaginatively organized.
The first night, we discovered the light wasn't working in the bathroom
by the kitchen. Jason took note, and fixed it promptly. To wrap up...
I thought your facility far superior in charm and pleasantness to the
"regular" motels I have stayed in. Thank you so much for encouraging
us to try Camelot Guest House by fitting our limited budget so well. 34) I was
in Salt Lake City for a collaboration with the University of Utah (I'm
a PostDoc in Computer Science), and I found Camelot to be the right place
for me: good price (the same as in-campus apartments, but without being
forced to stay more than 3 months), good location (walking distance to
the TRAX, the bus and a supermarket), good cleanness and great people
as roommates. Good also for provided options (fridges, kitchens, Internet
in your room, TV). I definitely recommend it. 33) The second part of this is more personal, it's
my personal thanks for running an establishment like Camelot. So then
to deal with business things first... I must say I was never "thrilled"
with the state of Utah, but one thing that I did always enjoy was coming
home to Camelot. The guesthouse you provided gave me the real feel of
"coming home". It was a much more personal feel than many of
the places I've lived and traveled to in the past, and I must say you
did a phenomenal job of providing a outstanding atmosphere, and a great
clientele. I've always found interesting discussions to be one of my passions
in life, and the clients you chose to rent to always were intelligent
and well educated. I made many fast friends during my stay at Camelot,
friends I will have and cherish for years to come. Some I've even talked
about visiting in their countries. I've enjoyed the barbecues, the camaraderies,
and the overall feeling of people doing things with their lives. I've
enjoyed your help, and hard work on the property, and I truly wish you
the best. Truth be told I could talk for hours about the wonders of this
place, and never truly do it justice, but one thing I For certain want
to say to you Arthur, is thank you, thank you for giving me a chance to
be part of the wonder that truly is... Camelot. 32) Thanks again for providing the unique environment
of Camelot, which is more than just a place to stay. I've met a number
of people who've become real friends and many others who are just interesting
folks my life has been enriched by meeting. And yes, I understand that
having rules and procedures is a big part of what makes it all work. 31) Out of all the hostels in Salt Lake, this is certainly
the best. It is more laid back, awesome location, awesome facilities.
Within 2 blocks you have some of the best restaurants and shopping in
the city as well as Salt Lake's best city park. Book here to get the best
Salt Lake experience. 30) Very
good hostel (Guest House) located in the center of Salt lake , near downtown
and close to the TRAX...Top security ! AMAZING RATES!!! I would definitely
recommend this hostel to anyone !!! we had a great stay !!!!! 29) Camelot's in a great location, super easy to
find. I had a private entrance, nice big bed. Definitely staying there
next time I pass through. 28) I recently spent 6 nights at the Jefferson
Guesthouse. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was very clean and comfortable
- and wonderful to have free use of the computer, TV and washing facilities.
Arthur and his wife were very helpful in providing information regarding
travel, shops and sightseeing. was visiting the Family History Center
to do research, and found the Guesthouse quite suitable for this purpose
- close to transport. I would readily recommend it to anyone of any age!
. 27) I want to extend my sincere thanks to you for
being able to accommodate my stay in Salt Lake City. My grandparents are
very happy that I was able to finish this week with them. John (manager)
is a charming gentleman and having him about the guest houses put my husband's
mind to ease. We expect to return next year to pay family respects and
I shall be sure to book as early as I can. Thanks. 26) One of the better hostels I've been to, but
at half the price! 25) We stayed here for about 9 or 10 days and it
was a very pleasant experience. I definitely recommend it to anyone who
needs a place to stay and can't afford staying in a motel or anyone who
is traveling through. The staff is very kind and courteous and it's great
that there is a kitchen because we got to cook homemade meals away from
home. 24) I had a great experience at the Jefferson House.
The location can't be beat, so close to downtown and TRAX. Arthur treats
his guests with true professionalism. I would suggest staying at the house
to friends and family. excellent value. The location of the Guest House
is excellent, and within easy striking distance to anything one might
want to see or do in the Salt Lake City area. I stayed there for four
evenings, and had no problems whatsoever with finding the Guest House,
security in the neighborhood, etc. The Guest House staff is very friendly,
accommodating, and informative. Also, the Camelot Guest House has everything
a traveler could want in terms of amenities, laundry and kitchen facilities,
very clean and abundant bathrooms, Internet access, etc. I would definitely
stay there again... 23) We
had layover in SLC on our way north for the summer... not quite knowing
what to expect, we were down for anything. Camelot was a pleasant surprise
-- the room was basic, utilities great, yet the people were the real jewel.
We pulled up around 9PM to meet a few people sitting out on the front
lawn, talking and watching the night fall. Everyone was super friendly,
helpful, approachable and gave off a good sense of community. In short,
I definitely recommend Camelot for an affordable trip to Salt Lake City
-- it's right in the middle of everything, we walked everywhere. Do note
the Coffee Break Cafe a few blocks away and Sage Cafe for vegan/vegetarian
breakfast, also a few blocks away. 22) I arrived here yesterday and it has exceeded
my expectations! The owners/managers, Sylvia and Arthur, are extremely
friendly and helpful. I felt welcomed when I arrived. The whole house
is very clean. Here are several restrooms, all well-equipped and spotless.
My room is welcoming and inviting. Other good things include great, accessible
free parking; ironing board and iron; free laundry; free Easy Mac (may
not always be available, who knows); fast Internet (I'm using it right
now); great location; and great price. I highly recommend Camelot Rooms.
21) What a gem! More than a hostel (Guest House)
- and having stayed in a number of hostels and B&B's around the country,
I'd call it more of a B&B just without the breakfast. I might even
call it... ....Camelot! Nice authentic Victorian house both with a magnificent
mountain view from the porch while still in the center of a vibrant, clean
city and within walking distance of almost more than I can list. Free
high-speed Internet both on a provided PC and for wireless laptops, cable
TV, a separate gaming machine, weights and exercise machine, common areas
to eat and meet, washer-dryer, walking distance from the city's light
rail system, which takes you to the connection to the Airport, the U.
of Utah and up and downtown to malls, arenas, Temple Square, Symphony
Hall, the major arenas (e.g., where the Utah Jazz play) and exposition
areas. And if you're driving, secure, monitored parking. Also within an
easy walk of the fantastic SLC library (full access for travelers), a
two minute walk from a 7 day/week full supermarket/department store combo
(Smith's) open from 6 am to midnight -- and not much further to a wide
complement of chic shopping (Trolley Square), interesting restaurants
-- everything from major fast food chains to funky coffee shops (also
with free WiFi) to organic vegetarian dining or a Brazilian restaurant
with all the meat you can eat and 24 hour Mexican food. Plus nightclubs,
live music and more. Close to every service a traveler might need. Even
galleries, a large city park (Liberty Park) with a well known world-class
aviary (Tracey Aviary) are within a foot-traveler's easy reach (and the
owner can supply a bicycle to bring things even closer). I met several
skiers at Camelot. And the rail system will get you to easy connections
to many major ski resorts. I also met folks from four or five countries
with a variety of interesting backgrounds. You have 24 hour access and
an innovative self-check in and out system (though live-in part-time managers
and full-time phone access to the owner are also provided). The owner
(Arthur) has obviously put in a lot of time and thought into every detail
of his business and enjoys being a host. He was at work on a number of
improvements during my stay. Not to mention clean bathrooms and kitchen,
fresh linen (draw and put out your own from the linen cabinet), multiple
microwaves, local calls, ample fridge and freezer space, plus cookware.
I could go on, but I marvel that people will spend 5-10 times more for
a sterile motel room with none of the conviviality and personality of
a place like Camelot..... ...if Salt Lake's on your itinerary (and it's
an underrated destination and should be if it's not), you won't do better. 20) The
room was clean and the bed was good. The kitchen, living room, and the
bathroom was in good shape. I went to Salt Lake City to go skiing and
the location was perfect. It is just two blocks from the bus station(bus
to the ski resorts) and it is located in downtown Salt Lake City. It was
easy to find by car, just few blocks from the interstate. Arthur the owner
was very friendly and helpful . You could ask him about everything and
he helped me. I will strongly recommend the place because of the location,
good standard and it is inexpensive. 19) If you are a professional do not hesitate to
stay at CAMELOT HOUSE (556 S 500 East) in Salt Lake City. When there I
found the house occupants to consist of lawyers, professors, graduate
students, business persons, and international travelers. I found it convenient
to the City and County Courthouses, the elaborate City Library, and within
walking distance of the TRAX station where you can board for a FREE ride
within the Downtown Zone. It is also a short distance to the University
of Utah and its academic and law libraries. The owner-manager Arthur is
on-site, keeps the premises professionally cleaned, well monitored, and
with house-rules so no one is disturbed by other tenants. It is an excellent
facility for the bargain rates. 18) I recently had the pleasure of spending time
at the Camelot rooming house in Salt Lake City, I was working on a project
for Sarcos a medical and robots research group at the University of Utah.
I live in California and travel a lot, so the idea of spending months
in a hotel just wasn't what I wanted. I had never looked for a rooming
house but knowing I was going to be near the University I thought I would
just give it a try. While looking through craigslist.com I found a posting
for the Camelot, I bounced a few e-mails back and forth with Arthur. After
a few more phone calls I thought why not, so I moved in and I have to
say it turned out better then I had hoped. The people were friendly the
location could not have been better, within a few blocks there is just
about everything you could want, shopping, restaurants, parks, light rail,
a "GREAT" city library, and my favorite two excellent coffee
bars. If you have never been Salt Lake like me the city is very walker
and transit friendly, which makes the location of the Camelot excellent.
I had driven a car out but could have done without it. That other stuff
you might want to know Arthur the owner lives on site and is a very up
front guy, it's the kind of place your mother would approve of. I would
recommended this anyone needing to spend time in Salt Lake, I know that
if he has space Arthur will rent rooms for a few days I think he is listed
in the Hostel Guild. 17) Hey I just wanted to take a moment to thank
you for being not only a great landlord, but also a great friend and a
great role model. I will always remember you as someone who has a great
business mind, and a great personality. You are awesome!! ...You always
care about the well being of your tenants and that's very commendable.
Thank you for looking out for my well being. 16) I love
living at Camelot because it's location is great. I can walk to many of
the area attractions like temple square, Trolley Square where there are
young adult dances three times a week. It makes me feel like I am at home.
The tenants, who live here, are great and fun to hang out with. There
aren't any parties, which I like because sometimes I work nights and it's
great that I can sleep and not get awaken during the night or early mornings.
There are grocery stores and markets within a block of Camelot therefore
making it easy to get groceries and food and whatever else you need to
make a living here easy for you. Plus there isn't any smoking or drinking
of alcohol here and so it's very clean and easy to breathe. It also smells
better than a pair of old gym socks. The people who live here are very
friendly. In fact, the other day I had the door open and a couple of people
came by to see how I was doing. I feel we are like a big family. We don't
fight or have disagreements. We all respect each other and each other's
property. I just love living here. I would definitely recommend it to
anyone who is looking for a caring environment. 15) Living here at the Camelot has been a great
experience! Being away from home like I am, it's nice to have people around
for company. Camelot is a nice clean place with nice, clean, respectful
people! I have lived here for quite a while now and I really like it.
It's in a good location and Camelot also has a lot to offer to it's tenants.
Everyone here is respectful and clean and fun to be around. It's a very
cool place for people that are going to school. It has a very cool lounge
to hang out and chat with other tenants. This is a very clean and fun
place to live and I highly recommend it! 14) Camelot is a great place to live in. It is
convenient to many places and things -- a large supermarket, restaurants,
shopping areas, movie theaters, the new city library, bus stops, and the
Salt Lake City version of the trolley, TRAX, which goes directly to the
University of Utah, is only two blocks away. The house is full of friendly
people, who care about getting along and having a pleasant place to live.
The most intriguing thing for me is the diversity of people here. We have
residents From Africa, Peru, Brazil, Chile, and Mongolia! You can practice
almost any language you might be studying, or have a discussion about
the culture of Japan, or the Middle East. It's also safe, clean, and usually
pretty quiet. The neighborhood is made up of people of all ages, even
children. In addition, Salt Lake is one of the cleanest and friendliest
places I have ever lived. I've been here since mid-December 2002, and
think I made a good decision to be here. 13) Living at Camelot gives you a sense of security,
and trust among the other residents. This comes From the screening process
Arthur performs when interviewing a potential resident. One of the processes
is to, introduce the potential resident to some of the present residents
to see how they interact. When there is a good rapport between them he
takes this as a good sign. I have enjoyed living at Camelot because of
the interaction, and respect that is shown, and the class of people that
live here. What constitutes acceptance here is being able to get along
with, and respecting other residents, and their property. It makes you
feel good about living here. 12) Hello Arthur, how have you been? I appreciate
you renting me the room over at Camelot. Thanks for letting me move up
to a larger room from the smaller room that I started out in. The prices
are very competitive compared to other rentals around the area. It was
nice to rent a room from someone with such high standards. Everyone was
so friendly, and it was great that all common areas were well kept. Your
house always felt comfortable. That was awesome when you installed the
security cameras and extra lighting, I always felt like it was a safe
place to stay. In a few months I may be moving back to the area for work.
Hopefully, you will have a room open when I get back. Talk to you soon
Aaron 11) Camelot
Rooms are clean, safe, and an affordable solution to your housing needs.
You will be pleasantly surprised to know that Camelot Rooms have Cable
TV and High Speed Internet connection in each and every room. If you are
looking for a clean and quiet situation and would like to share these
good qualities with roommates who know that a safe environment is the
best way to live, then I would encourage you to contact Arthur Morais
at 688-6196 or 556 South 500 East Salt Lake City UT 10) When I first heard about the Avalon Apartments
apartments, I thought it was too good to be true. I mean, $250.00 a month,
I thought that there must have been something wrong with the apartments.
I came down and looked through one of the finished apartments, and it
was looking really nice. I was then directed to Arthur's office at Camelot
(5th So. 5th E.), and got a look at what he did to fix up the place. Arthur
told me that Avalon Apartments was going to look so much better. I couldn't
believe it. I trusted him on what he said, and it looks better every day.
There are so many advantages to living here in Avalon Apartments. It's
just a short distance from Temple Square, not to mention just down the
street from LDS Business College. Did I mention that the majority of the
tenants here at Avalon Apartments are LDS? Also it's just a short walk
from the singles wards for LDSBC. If you have any doubts, just come and
look at the place, and you'll be convinced just like I was, that "This
A localidade, e
uma coisa que dispensa comentarios. Avalon Apartments fica no centro de
Salt Lake City, perto de tudo (banco, supermercado, McDonalds, farmacia,...),
JA e uma economia que voce faz, pois voce nao precisa de ir longe para
comprar alguma coisa, e detalhe, e pertinho DA Universidade, muitos inquilinos
aqui estudam nela, e vao a pe, nem precisam tirar o carro DA garagem,
e tem uns que vao de bicicleta. O apartamento e uma das coisas que mais
me chamou a atencao, pois e muito limpo, o Senhorio cuida, nao deixa acumular
so 2 disso!!! 8) Avalon Apartments is exactly what I need in
a place to stay - a calm, safe environment. The people are friendly, and
we hang out and have Sunday dinners together. The apartments are kept
reasonably clean. And most important, there's no major dramas - no neighbors
throwing loud parties, no big arguments, no big messes, or any of the
other problems I've experienced with apartments. 7) When I first got to Salt Lake City I was all
by my self when it came to looking for an Apartment because the one I
had waiting for me was not working out I was pleasantly surprised to find
a landlord that takes good care of his tenants. I say that because I have
had my share of Landlords but none like Arthur. His parents work at the
Apartments on site and are there to fix something when it goes wrong.
A big bonus is that you don't have to go to a coin laundry to get you
clothes clean- you have them right there ready for uses at even 11PM at
night. It is very competitive pricing and the location is wonderful. If
you are going to Church or to Dance at Trolley Square you are within a
walking distance. It is a great place to be. 6) Estoy muy agradecido de poder vivir en los apartamentos
Avalon Apartments.
5) To whom it may concern: My name is Ben Adams
and I am a college student at the University of Utah. The Avalon Apartments
has definitely been a smart choice for me. For instance, I have my own
washer and dryer so I don't have to fuss with the Laundromat. Also, it
is close enough to walk downtown and to the U. Mostly, I have made friends
with my roommates and other tenants without any problem. 4) When I first moved to Salt Lake City I had no
friends, no family in the area. I moved here to start college as a massage
therapist. Because I had nobody I turned to God and asked him to help
me find friends and family that would support me like my immediate family
does. When I found Avalon Apartments I knew that this was what God had
intended. I was immediately welcomed into the arms of all the residents
here. Everybody here has been there every time I need them and are so
friendly. We are one big happy family. Arthur and his parents are very
kind and loving people. You couldn't ask for better landlords. When you
need something they are right there to help. When ever they see you they
are quick to say hi, and always ask how things are going. They always
seem to put a smile on my face. The apartments are great. They have everything
that you need... and if there is something you do need, just ask and they
will help you. Because of the rules of the house everything is kept clean
at all times. Even if you are not the best at house keeping, your roommates
help you to become that way. Every person has their own ways of doing
things, but together we become a team to help each other and grow. I really
don't think that I would pick to live any other place if I had a choice.
The environment here is excellent. 3) I really enjoy living at Avalon Apartments apartments.
It is great living among all these LDS people. I also have great roommates
that I get to live with. They are cool and will help me out in anyway
they can. This is why I like Avalon Apartments. Thanks 2) The full service rent concept you are developing
is very impressive to me. I've never seen anything like it before, but
feel it is a valuable asset to the community. I see it of particular value
to college students coming from out of the country. There is so much value
added service you are providing which would be difficult, if not impossible
for some of these students to take advantage of outside of the setting
you provide. Value added services such as personal computer with broadband
access to the Internet, cable television, washer & dryer, maid service,
telephone, furnished apartment - all make life so much more enjoyable,
fun and easier especially on a student budget. I can't imagine Miguel
trying to get some of these services until he has established some credit
here in the US And then there is the added value of the student not having
to be responsible for finding roommates, arguing over who's paid what
portion of utilities, etc... - I think you have developed on a wonderful
concept. Thank you for providing a great service at what I believe is
a reasonable price. 1) I live in Richmond Virginia and discovered Avalon
Apartments Rooms for Rent on the Internet while applying to LDS Business
College. I was really impressed by the web site and the professional friendly
assistance I received From Arthur Morais the owner. But as would any out
of state researcher I wanted to know for myself if these rentals were
as good as the ad said. Fortunately I have close friends that live in
Salt Lake that were able to check out Avalon Apartments for me. They observed
the rental and approved it for me. So if you are an out of stater having
difficulties making a confident decision in finding a place to live please
consider Avalon Apartments Rooms for Rent. Please feel free to contact
me by e-mail (BuckeyBeaver@themail.com) for further information or confirmation
regarding Avalon Apartments. |
